Fans of the Spice Girls will know Mel C, 52, as Sporty Spice. While she found fame as an athletically-styled singer who boasted a toned figure, that’s nothing compared to what she looks like now.
Along with preparing to release new music, the star has revealed an incredibly impressive new look that proves she’s taken the state of her fit physique up a notch. In fact, the Mirror notes that she has undergone an “incredible body transformation.”
Mel C Has Gone from Toned to Ripped
“Mel C may be Sporty Spice but her incredible transformation ahead of the release of her new album makes her look like one of the Gladiators,” the Mirror explained.
Taking to Instagram, Mel C shared both videos and photos giving a behind-the-scenes look at what she’s been up to while getting things ready for her new release.
The Mirror points out that “[i]In the video, Mel was done up in full gym glam. Her hair was teased into a fluffy main, not unlike current Gladiator Sabre, and she had huge hooped earrings on. She also wore orange heels and an orange, red and navy leotard, cinched with a chunky belt and designed to highlight all the muscles in her arms and legs.”
That’s not to mention the fact that the singer “struck several poses that showed off her muscles, which were incredibly toned, to their full potential,” per the Mirror.
The Daily Mail also told readers that another photo featured Mel C “flaunt[ing] her toned abs in a khaki crop top and black cycling shorts as she posed on a spin bike wearing a pair of towering stilettos.” Beyond that, one image showed her “tuck[ing] into a huge cake which featured her face on the top surrounded by mini dumbbells.”

In the caption of her Instagram post, Mel C referred to her new album, which will be released on May 1, writing, “Prepare to SWEAT! Two weeks to go 🙌🏼”
