โI have always enjoyed strength training. Iโve always enjoyed lifting weights โ like, I donโt want to run unless Iโm being chased,โ she joked. โI want to age the best way that I can, and I want to be strong. And thatโs really the impetus behind any of it.โ

On Ozempic & Destigmatizing Weight Loss Choices
Metz also addressed the growing popularity of weight loss medications like Ozempic, emphasizing that every journey is personal. โIt is so personal and I think itโs important to destigmatize anything,โ she told the Daily Mail. โBut I also think itโs peopleโs personal decision to decide what it is that they want to do for their body. I think ultimately, at the end of the day, we all just want to feel good and feel good about ourselves.โ

That summer, while vacationing in Barbados, Metz proudly posted a photo of herself in a black Lane Bryant swimsuit. While some reactions were unexpectedly backhanded, she didnโt let them dull her shine.
โThere were people like, ‘Oh my God, look at you! You know I could never do that,โโ she recalled. โItโs a backhanded compliment, but Iโm doing what I want to do.”
