Crunchyroll is streaming the first two episodes of “Jujutsu Kaisen” season 3 on January 8. But the only episodes available are the English subtitled episodes. Unfortunately, the season 3 dubbed episodes aren’t available yet. Here’s the latest information Crunchyroll told us about the dubs.
Crunchyroll Does Not Yet Have a Date for the English Dub’s Release
Just a couple of days before the premiere of “Jujutsu Kaisen” season 3, a Crunchyroll representative confirmed with EntertainmentNOW that yes, English dubs of the highly anticipated series will be streaming soon. However, they don’t yet know the exact date that the English dubs will be premiering on the streaming platform.
However, they confirmed that they will let EntertainmentNOW know more details as soon as they’re available.
It’s not unusual for English dubs to not premiere on the same day that English subs first drop for anime. In fact, it’s more unusual for the dubs to drop at the same time as the subs. This is true even of massively popular anime series like “Jujutsu Kaisen.” For example, back when “Attack on Titan” was airing new episodes, dubs typically premiered a little over a month after the subs. (One of the biggest exceptions was when the sub for “Attack on Titan” Season 4 Part 3 Part 1 premiered on March 3, 2023, but the dub didn’t drop until September 10. This, however, was unusual.)
We will update this story as soon as we know exactly when to expect the dubs for season 3 of “Jujtusu Kaisen.”
The Culling Game Arc Will Air Every Thursday Morning
Episodes one and two of The Culling Game arc premiere on January 8 at 12 p.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Central/10 a.m. Mountain/9 a.m. Pacific.
After these first two episodes, a new subtitled episode will continue to air every Thursday morning on Crunchyroll in the United States until cour 1 is completed. We do not yet know exactly how many episodes will be in season 3.
Here’s how Crunchyroll describes the main plot of the series: “Although born with tremendous power, Itadori Yuji lives a completely ordinary life. One day, to save a classmate, he eats a cursed finger, and now Ryomen Sukuna lives in Itadori’s soul. Guided by the Jujutsu Sorcerers, he joins the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, an organization that fights the curses. Now begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to end a curse.”
