“Teen Mom” star Kailyn Lowry shared a rare photo of her 1-year-old daughter, Valley, in a January 17 Instagram Story.
The photo, which was uploaded on the TeenMomOGandTeenMom2 subreddit on Reddit, showed Valley sitting on her mother’s lap in front of a mirror. Lowry snapped the picture while her daughter smiled.
“Gooooood morning from the ✨girls✨,” captioned Lowry.
Several Reddit users complimented Lowry’s daughter in the comments section.
“Her kids are ridiculously cute,” wrote a commenter.
“She is adorable, Kail has gorgeous children,” added a “Teen Mom” fan.
“Super cute. She looks alot like Kail,” shared a different person.
Kailyn Lowry Celebrated Her Daughter & Her Son, Verse’s 1st Birthdays in October 2024
Lowry celebrated Valley and her twin brother Verse’s first birthdays in October 2024. In an October 2024 Instagram upload, Lowry shared how she celebrated her youngest children’s birthdays. The Instagram post showed that Valley and Verse, fathered by Lowry’s fiance, Elijah Scott, had a Halloween-themed birthday party, complete with adorable ghost and black cat decorations.
In the caption of the post, Lowry wrote that she “can not believe the twins are already one!”
“They have brought so much joy into our family! Happy Birthday Verse & Valley, we love you! 🧁🎈👻,” continued Lowry in the caption.
Lowry’s fellow “Teen Mom” star Tyler Baltierra commented on the post, writing, “They’re SO CUTE! 😍.”
Kailyn Lowry Shared She Regretted Getting a Tubal Ligation
Following the birth of Verse and Valley, Lowry decided to undergo a tubal ligation to prevent her from getting pregnant again. During an October 2024 interview on the “Just Trish” podcast, Lowry said she regretted getting her tubes tied. She explained that she wished that she had been able to give Valley a sister, as she only has brothers.
“I always wanted her to have a sister. I was like maybe we should have waited until we had like one more girl. Like done IVF with gender selection,” said the mother of seven on the podcast episode.
Lowry made similar comments about her regret regarding her tubal ligation in a February 2024 episode of her podcast, “Barely Famous.” She said she felt as though she did Valley a disservice by not giving her a sister.
“I just got my tubes tied. And I’m so sad — it’s like a bittersweet feeling because the one thing that I would’ve always wanted if I had a girl was to have another one,” said Lowry on her podcast. “Because I never got close to my sister growing up and I always loved seeing sisters who were best friends. So that’s the one thing that I wish I could’ve given my daughter — a sister.”
