All award season long, Timothée Chalamet has been stealing the spotlight. Not only has he been winning some major awards, like his first-ever Critics Choice Award and Golden Globe for his role in “Marty Supreme,” but he’s often has his longtime partner and red carpet veteran Kylie Jenner by his side.
At the 2026 Actor Awards, however, Chalamet changed up his plus one and brought his mom, Nicole Fender, instead.
Timothée Chalamet Shared a Sweet Moment With His Mom
In a 16-second clip shared by Page Six on X, Chalamet, who’s wearing a white Prada suit with black trousers, shared a sweet moment with his mom on the red carpet.
In it, Chalamet, with a wide smile on his face, invites his mom over to pose for pictures in front of the photographers. Fender, who’s wearing a bright pink midi-dress with cutout details at the bottom, then walks into frame and hugs her son. Smiling for the pictures, it’s clear the uncanny resemble between them.
As they posed, Fender even popped her left foot out to show her nude-colored platform heels.
Tonight Could Be Another Big Win for Timothée Chalamet
GettyAt the 32nd Actor Awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Chalamet is once again competing the Best Actor category for his role as Marty Mauser in “Marty Supreme.” In the film, Chalamet’s Marty, who’s obsessed with winning the world’s biggest table tennis competition, leaves a path of destruction in his wake.
He is nominated alongside Leonardo DiCaprio for “One Battle After Another,” Ethan Hawke for “Blue Moon,” Michael B. Jordan for “Sinners” and Jesse Plemons for “Bugonia.”
The win for Chalamet would certainly be telling, especially given that it’s the last award show leading up to the 98th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 15, 2026. For that award show, Chalamet is competing against Jordan, DiCaprio, Hawke and “The Secret Agent” star Wagner Moura.
Chalamet’s last win was at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11.
“My dad instilled in me a spirit of gratitude growing up,” Chalamet said in his speech, per People. “Always be grateful for what you have.”
“It’s allowed me to leave this ceremony in the past empty-handed, my head held high, grateful just to be here,” he continued. “I’d be lying if I didn’t say those moments didn’t make this moment that much sweeter. For my parents, for my partner, I love you. Thank you so much.”
