The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 18 may be gearing up to shoot, but show star Phaedra Parks already has fans ready to tune in after dropping bombshell news about her relationship status. Despite having a history of being a bit coy when it comes to her love life, she recently sat down with former Bravoleb Jeff Lewis for his radio show and told the world she’s dating fellow reality TV star Chris “CT” Tamburello.
CT is likely an instantly recognizable name for millennials who spent time watching The Real World: Paris or variations of The Challenge on MTV. Between him and Johnny Bananas, they’re arguably two of the most recognizable contestants from the latter series.
Fast forward to 2024, to The Traitors Season 2 on Peacock, where both CT and Parks were contestants. Fans of the series will recall that the two seemed to develop a friendly bond back in that infamous Scottish castle. And now, it appears that things between them have taken a romantic turn.
Parks Says Things With CT Are NOT Platonic
Peacock/GettyDuring a recent episode of Jeff Lewis Live on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, the Georgia peach stopped by to chat with Lewis. During their conversation, Lewis bluntly asks Parks, “Are you dating? Because I heard you were going to the Emmys with a date. Is this a platonic thing?” In response, Parks whispers, “No, it’s not.”
After a shocked Lewis gasps, he further inquires, “So, you’ve been out with this guy before? What’s his name? CT?” She continues in her wafty voice, “Yeah.” Parks confirms she is going to the Emmys with him as his date, given he’s a presenter at the 78th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. When Lewis questions how long she’s been dating CT, she only replies with, “Probably since the last time I came out here [Los Angeles].”
Now, to Lewis’ credit, he tries his hardest to get more of a scoop from Parks about the particulars of her relationship with CT, but she proves rather masterful in keeping a tight lid on things, only letting out details sparingly. Check out the brief audio clip below.
CT Seemingly Confirms Romance
As of publication, CT may not have responded in-kind with his own interview, but he still appears to back up the claims from Parks. In his Instagram Story on September 4, he posted a photo of two vehicles sitting outside of a home with the caption “bout to leave to pick up bae. 💅.” Additionally, he tagged BuzzStar, Creators Inc, and Phaedra Parks.
While some fans of both celebs try to process how they feel about the newly revealed romance (personally speaking, if the two like it, I love it), others just can’t wait to see if Parks will allow RHOA cameras to capture this blossoming relationship. Let’s hope that she does, and CT is seen popping up at cast dinners or perhaps cast trips. Heck, maybe he can even make an appearance at the Season 18 reunion.
