The former HGTV star took to social media on Friday, August 28, to show off their dazzling statuette.
“Finding the Emmy’s forever home… in Chip’s office! 🏆,” she captioned the clip. “‘Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse’ won a Daytime Emmy Award for the 2025 Outstanding Instructional/How-To Program! We’re grateful to everyone @magnolianetwork who helped bring this project to life and to the viewers who welcomed us into their homes each week.”
She added, “As we head into another round of the 2026 Emmys, we’re feeling incredibly honored and excited about this year’s nominations!”
The video showed the award being unboxed, with the inscription reading, “Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse, Magnolia Network, Joanna Gaines, Executive Producer.”
She then gave the statuette a tour of the Magnolia offices, before landing on the windowsill in Chip’s office, surrounded by various knickknacks, including two baseballs, photographs, homages to his number 16, and gag gifts.”

The Waco, Texas, couple flipped a severely outdated 1960s lakehouse along Lake Waco.
“Two homes should not be telling the same story,” Joanna told Architectural Digest in June 2024. “I want everything that we touch to feel uniquely its own because that’s what it deserves. And I feel that’s the same for everyone’s homes—if you’re starting with your story and what you’re passionate about, what you love and what you’re drawn to, it should look different than everything else.”
The final design features a unique blend of mid-century modern and modern, with dark wood features juxtaposed with bright marbles. The home is flooded with natural light from the numerous skylights, but is balanced by the black tiled backsplash. Joanna used green hues throughout the home, which has all but become her trademark.
Fans can still catch up on the series on HBO Max, she shared alongside her Emmy video.
Chip and Joanna are currently up for another Emmy for their special, “Fixer Upper: Colorado Mountain House.”
The series premiered in December 2025 and showed the renovation of the family’s vacation home just outside of Aspen, Colorado.
“Did somebody say Emmy nominated? 👀” the network announced via social media in July. “Our first out of state fixer, #FixerUpper: Colorado Mountain House was just nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award. We’re so proud of the teams that worked on this show and honored to be nominated! Watch the full #MagnoliaNetwork series now streaming on HBO Max and discovery+.”
The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
