‘Jersey Shore’s’ Star Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley Shares Hospitalization in Heartbreaking Social Media Post

“Jersey Shore’s” star Jenni “JWoww” Farley took to social media to reveal that she is in the hospital.

In a lengthy post to Instagram on Thursday, Sept. 3, the MTV star revealed that she had to send her kids off to school in an unexpected way.

She shared a sweet photo of herself with her two children.

“Not the “first day of school” picture I wanted to post… but then again, I guess we wouldn’t have one. ❤️,” she began.

“This past week has probably been one of the hardest weeks of my life. I’ve spent every day fighting to get healthy enough to get home to my family while dealing with a horrible kidney infection and appendicitis,” she continued.

Jwoww Opens Up About Her Illness

She continued that she had been having symptoms for a while now.

“I want to say it came out of nowhere, but the truth is, I haven’t felt like myself for months. Weight loss, exhaustion, constantly feeling off… and then last Friday, my body finally said, ‘We aren’t making it like this anymore,’” she continued. “I cannot say enough about the incredible hospital team taking care of me and doing everything they could to get me healthy enough to have this moment with my kids.”

Even though she isn’t feeling the best she was still able to make time to fix her daughter’s hair.

“Because no matter where I was, I was going to do my daughter’s hair for her first day. 😂❤️,” she added.

JWoww even shared a fun video of herself as she did her hair.

The Reality TV Star Thanked Her Husband

Her statement continued as she thanked her husband, pro wrestler Zack Clayton Carpinello, for being by her side.

“And @zackclayton made sure the kids were here extra early this morning so we could all be together. We didn’t get the picture in front of the house. We didn’t get the normal first-day morning. We got hospital bracelets, a hospital room, backpacks, hair supplies and a memory I don’t think any of us will ever forget,” she added.

While she is upset that their first day of school didn’t go according to plan, she said that she knows her struggle is only temporary.

“For some families, something happened this summer that may have changed their lives forever. Some kids are walking into school carrying grief, illness at home, divorce, financial struggles, a new diagnosis, or something none of us can see,” she continued.

Farley recently tied the knot with Carpinello in a gorgeous “Beauty and the Beast” inspired surprise wedding in June. The couple kept the news under wraps and guests only realized it was a wedding moments before.

The two later wed again in a stunning Lake Como celebration.

“We wanted our New Jersey celebration at Madison’s to be an opportunity for our loved ones who weren’t able to travel to Italy to celebrate with us,” they told PEOPLE. “We gathered with our close friends and family in New Jersey, while our celebration in Italy was a more intimate experience for us.”
