Kelly Osbourne has opened up about a difficult period following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne. The singer revealed that she wore a wig to the 68th Grammy Awards after becoming concerned about her appearance. She is now focused on healing and creating a new life with her young son.
Meanwhile, Pamela Anderson looked relaxed and happy this week as she continues her new elegant, understated style.
Kelly Osbourne’s Grammy Wig Came During a Difficult Time
Kelly Osbourne had been dealing with intense grief after losing her father in July 2025. The experience had also affected her appetite.
“I couldn’t see what other people saw,” she told the Daily Mail. She explained that she was in so much pain that she only saw “a broken person.”
The “Osbournes” star realized how much weight she had lost while attending a dress fitting for the Grammys. A photograph from the fitting gave her a perspective she had not had before.
The 41-year-old said she had “no idea” how thin she had become.
She decided to wear a wig during the February 2026 awards ceremon, hoping that it would help cover her face and draw less attention to her cheekbones.
The singer now has some perspective on that night. She admitted that she did not think she was well enough to attend.
Kelly Osbourne Is Turning Grief Into Recovery
The loss of Ozzy had a profound impact on his daughter. Her family and friends had also noticed that she was struggling. At the time, though, she was overwhelmed by grief.
Kelly Osbourne also tried to protect her son, Sidney, from the hardest parts of the experience. The three-year-old was extremely close to his grandfather.
When Sidney entered the room, Kelly Osbourne said she would switch into “Miss Fun Mum.” She made sure her son did not see her cry.
Kelly Osbourne now plans to explore her experience in a three-part documentary. The project will focus on grief and mental health.
She said there is “a lot that people don’t know” about what she went through. The documentary will give her an opportunity to tell her story in her own words.
Finding a Fresh Start Back Home
Her next chapter is also taking shape in the UK. As reported by People, Kelly Osbourne has moved with her young son from Los Angeles back to the English countryside.
The move has given Kelly Osbourne a renewed sense of belonging. She said being home has “changed a lot” for her.
“I’ve never been a California girl,” she explained.
Kelly Osbourne also said she wanted to build a life where her son could be happy. Sidney will attend the same Buckinghamshire preschool that his mother attended.
Her move back to the UK is an important part of her healing process. Kelly Osbourne said she would not describe herself as happy yet.
Instead, she offered a more grounded reflection.
“Happy is not the word,” she said. “But I’m where I’m meant to be.”
