PHOTOS: The ’27 Dresses’ Cast Then & Now

Anne Fletcher’s romantic comedy movie “27 Dresses” didn’t exactly set the world alight when it released, but it was a perfectly acceptable easy watch that followed the typical rom-com formula to a T.

The plot concerned a woman — Jane Nichols, played by Katherine Heigl — who had previously served as a bridesmaid no less than 27 times (hence the title). In the film, her younger sister becomes engaged to the man she secretly loves, and she agrees to help plan the wedding, despite being heartbroken. Among the cast supporting Heigl are the likes of James Marsden, Malin Akerman, and Judy Greer.

“27 Dresses” released in the United States on January 18, 2008. So what do the stars of the movie look like now, as its 18th anniversary approaches, compared to how they looked back then? Let’s take a look…
