GH offered up another episode jammed with drama today. Josslyn spoke up to save Vaughn and committed treason, as a drunken Anna feared for her well-being back home. Ric is alive, but bound and gagged in a basement, and Sidwell admits to poisoning Maxie. Then there is that little dance that Molly and Cody are doing, as Michael and Dante weigh in.
Here’s a full recap of the Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, episode of “General Hospital.”
Josslyn Commits Treason
ABCJosslyn is tied up, on the floor alone with Pascal, who is pumping her for information. She insists that she knows nothing, and he tells her that if that’s true, then she is disposable. Joss demands to see Vaughn, and then maybe she’ll give up some intel. Vaughn is brought into the room and placed in a chair. He refuses to answer any questions and is beaten up in front of Joss as she yells for them to stop.
When another guard walks in carrying an iron, Vaughn still refuses to say anything. At that point, Joss gives Pascal the code to the box in Brennan’s office, where all the files are stored. Everyone leaves the room, and Vaughn flips out on his partner. He tells her that they have both now committed treason by giving up confidential information.
Meanwhile, Brennan takes a call from Anna, who is drunk and looking for an update on Joss. He hangs up and proceeds to deal with Colette, who says that the assignment needs to be called off because Vaughn and Joss haven’t made contact in twelve hours. He reminds her that he is the one in control, and Colette makes a snide remark about him dating Josslyn’s mother. Brennan warns her that if she makes another comment like that, it’ll be her last.
Brennan then leaves and finds Anna at the bar. He tries to get her to go, but she refuses, so they share a table. Anna reflects on her numerous regrets over joining the WSB and then becoming a double agent. He reminds her that all along the way, she has had choices. She fears for Josslyn’s safety, and there is nothing that Brennan can say to change that.
Sidwell Poisoned Maxie
ABCSidwell and Lucy are sharing a meal at the Metro Court, discussing everything that is happening with Deception. She is horrified even thinking about Maxie being in a coma and wishes that she could fix everything. Sidwell says that he saw Maxie collapse on live television, and it was horrible. Lucy worries about the business because online chatter has people concerned that Maxie collapsed due to the Deception face cream she used.
Sidwell says that the two of them will work together to figure out how to fix things. He reminds Lucy that she can help by holding the company together in Maxie’s absence. Lucy is relieved to have someone in her corner for support. She turns down his invitation to spend the night with him, for now, and he tells her it’s an open offer.
After Sidwell returns to Wyndemere, he finds Colette waiting for him. She tells him that Pascal wants to know if he has taken care of a loose end, and he reassures her it’ll be done. He then tells her to thank Pascal for the compound that took Maxie completely out of the way. He says that they will be in complete control of Deception in no time.
Cody Meant Well Even Though Things Didn’t End Well
ABCCody is upset after the fallout with Ava and Molly, and to make things worse, he just said goodbye to Maxie. He returns home to find Dante waiting for him with a six-pack, just like old times. Dante is done being mad at his oldest friend and is ready to support him. Cody unloads about Kristina hiring him to distract Ava, and how he really thought he was helping Molly.
Dante then pries a bit about Molly, and it becomes clear that Cody really does have feelings for her. Not only did he never want to hurt her, but he really thinks that there might be something there between them.
Meanwhile, at the Metro Court, Molly is filling Michael in on everything that has transpired. She took his advice and went to invite Cody for coffee, and got an eyeful. Michael apologizes for giving her bad advice, but even then, he leans toward giving Cody the benefit of the doubt. He thinks that he really did mean well. Molly tells him that she really needs to talk to her dad.
Ric Is Held Hostage
ABCAfter Ava bashes Ric on the back of the head with a paperweight, he is knocked out cold. She and Kristina are panicking over what to do as Alexis walks in the door. She demands to know precisely what has happened, so they take turns in sharing their part of the drama. Alexis is about to call the police when Ava stops her. If she goes down, then Kristina is going down for attempted murder. And Alexis will also go down for extortion. Each of them knows the others’ secrets so it is all or nothing.
Kristina checks Ric and he is still alive. They move his car to a location where no one will ever look, and today’s episode ended with Ric bound and gagged in a basement. He woke up and began trying to yell for help.,
