Jeff Probst to Appear on ‘The Sherri Show’ Ahead of ‘Survivor 50’ Premiere

In just one week, the highly-anticipated premiere of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” will hit CBS screens nationwide, kicking off with an unprecedented three-hour debut episode on Wednesday, February 25.

The run-up to the premiere has seen the hit reality competition franchise stage massive promotional events in recent weeks, including the “Survivor 50 Challenge,” which saw fans nationwide scouring the country in hopes of a Hidden Immunity Idol in their state, and the “Road to 50” campaign, which saw CBS re-air 10 classic “Survivor” episodes highlighting the all-star castaways returning for the milestone installment.

As the countdown to “50” comes to a close, however, longtime “Survivor” host Jeff Probst will take a more intimate promotional approach in the coming days, appearing in a series of classic sit-down interviews with some of the biggest talk show hosts in both daytime and late-night.

Probst’s appearance schedule in the days leading up to Wednesday’s “Survivor 50” premiere will kick off with a live interview on “The Sherri Show” on Monday, February 23, with appearances on “Live with Mark & Kelly” and “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” set to film the following day.

Actress and talk show host Sherri Shepherd will sit down with longtime “Survivor” host and actress-singer Adrienne Bailon-Houghton as they tape a new episode of “The Sherri Show” on Monday, February 23.

The daytime interviews will be taped in New York City starting at 12:00pm ET and will air on local networks – check your listings here – starting a 4:00pm ET. Based on the billing for the taping, it appears that Bailon-Houghton will kick things off, discussing her upcoming romantic-comedy film “Chef’s Kiss,” allowing Probst to wrap things up with what will inevitably be a discussion of the upcoming premiere of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans.”

It remains unclear as to whether or not the host will drop any major news about the golden anniversary season ahead of its premiere on Wednesday, though the appearance will mark his first televised interview of the week, set to be followed by appearances on “Live with Kelly & Mark” on Tuesday morning and “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday night.
