Jeff Probst to Co-Host ‘Survivor’-Inspired Episode of ‘The Price is Right at Night’

The time has come for “Survivor” fans to brush up on their economic knowledge as Jeff Probst, the longtime host of the hit CBS reality competition series, prepares to join Drew Carey for an upcoming episode of “The Price is Right at Night.”

The episode, set to air on Wednesday, February 4, will act as the finale of the CBS game show, and will witness Probst and Carey team up to offer players a chance to win exotic trips to “Survivor”-inspired locations in anticipation for the upcoming release of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans.”

Audience members will test their price-checking knowledge to win all-expense paid trips to “adventure-packed destinations” – a.k.a former “Survivor” filming locations – like French Polynesia, Australia, Samoa, the Cook Islands and Thailand.

“Host Drew Carey welcomes ‘Survivor’ host and executive producer Jeff Probst in a special ‘Survivor’-themed episode,” reads a statement from CBS, adding that, in addition to the trips on offer, “an audience full of ‘Survivor’ superfans [will] try to outwit, outplay and outlast each other for a chance to win big cash prizes.”

The statement similarly revealed that Probst will surprise contestants with a “‘Survivor’-themed twist during two classic [‘Price is Right’] games.”

When & Where to Watch Jeff Probst on ‘The Price is Right at Night’

Fans can catch Jeff Probst co-host the season finale of “The Price is Right at Night” on CBS on Wednesday, February 4 at 8:00pm ET, or streaming on Paramount+ the following day, followed by the premiere of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” on Wednesday, February 25 at 8:00pm ET on the same platforms.

Probst’ appearance will see the “Survivor” icon reprise his day-time hosting career after having previously served on series like “Rock & Roll Jeopardy” (1998-2001), “Access Hollywood” (1998), “Backchat” (1994-1998) and “The Jeff Probst Show” (2012-2013) before being bumped up to the role of executive producer in 2010.

February’s “The Price is Right at Night” finale will similarly mark the second time the series has presented a “Survivor”-inspired installment, following a 2016 crossover that featured former castaways like Natalie Anderson (“Survivor: San Juan del Sur”), Joe Anglim (“Survivor: Worlds Apart”), Rupert Boneham (“Survivor: Pearl Islands”), Jeremy Collins (“Survivor: Cambodia”), Cirie Fields (“Survivor 50”), Woo Hwang (“Survivor: Cagayan”), “Boston Rob” Mariano (“Survivor: Marquesas”), Kelley Wentworth (“Survivor: Cambodia”) and Tina Wesson (“Survivor: The Australian Outback”) as guest stars.

During the decade-old episode, the former castaways joined civilian contestants to win money for charity, with those eliminated on their way to the ultimate showcase having their torch snuffed “Survivor” style by Probst, who joined the installment as a guest star.

Probst similarly appeared as a guest star on a 2023 episode of “The Price is Right at Night” ahead of the premiere of “Survivor 45.”
