Things just got started last week on “Survivor” season 50. The castaways are just getting their bearings, so we should expect things to heat up even more with this new episode tonight.

In the sneak peek video from CBS this week, we see members of the Vatu Tribe trying to sneak into Aubrey’s bag to see if she has any idols. It’s odd, but I am enjoying the Q content for “Survivor” 50. Never saw that one coming! Will this search lead to the demise of Aubry? We made our predictions earlier, but find out tonight and find out who got eliminated on “Survivor” season 50 during our “Survivor” live recap below.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD: THIS LIVE RECAP WILL BE UPDATED THROUGHOUT THE EPISODE, SO DO NOT KEEP READING IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ SPOILERS.

Week 2 Begins

We go back to Kyle being medically evacuated. The other tribe members are very emotional after he leaves. Now that Kyle is gone, Q tries to add in Rizo, to get more numbers on their side.

Over on Cila Tribe, Christian had an accident, as he pooped his pants! The other tribe members are dying.

Reward Challenge Time

The castaways arrive at the challenge. Kamilla is emotional to see that Kyle is gone. Then we have some words between Coach and Ozzy regarding the challenge from last week. It gets tense!

For this challenge, the castaways will go through a series of obstacles to gather rings. Once all the rings are captured, they will then toss three of them on a ring. The first tribe done wins a massive camp survival kit, two hammocks, and a tarp. The second tribe gets a smaller survival kit and a tarp.

Kalo and Cila are working on the rings first, as Vatu is behind the pack. Devens hits all three wins, and it’s Cila winning this challenge. Coach nails them for Kalo, so they get the second-place reward. Nothing for Vatu tonight on “Survivor” 50.

Camp Time

Aubry is struggling on the Vatu Tribe. She said she is around a bunch of lunatics. She said this a lot, and it takes a lot of energy. Aubry knows she’s in a weird spot, and she needs to calm it down.

Genevieve thinks Aubry is keeping her bag too close by, so she thinks she has an idol. They now try to sneak through her bag to see if anything is in there. All the searching, Aubry sees nothing, and the castaways find nothing!

Over on the Kalo Tribe, Jonathan said he is trying to form bonds with people. He then goes out fishing with Coach, who gets a cramp while out. They had to pull him up on the boat and bring Coach back to land.

Now Chrissy is being too much of a mom, and rubbing her tribe members the wrong way for Kalo.

Thinking About Alliances

We have castaways thinking about their early alliances. For Cila, they seem to be thinking about Joe, and managing him is hard. They are thinking about leaving him out of things.

Joe and Rick have some major tension. Christian is out to get away from the tension and happens to find one of the Billie Eilish Boomerang Idols! He decides to send it to Aubry. She gets it, and says this is the sign she needed to bring her back into the game.

Q is out trying to get food, and he is upset that everyone is back at camp just talking. He said Rizo is lazy. He said Angelina is lazy too. Pulling your weight around camp could be the difference between you staying and going.

Immunity Challenge on ‘Survivor’ 50

The castaways arrive to Jeff Probst. For this challenge, they are racing out into the jungle to retrieve a giant Survivor snake. They will retrieve three snakes. Then they will work a ball through a maze. The first two tribes to get the balls through the maze win immunity. The last tribe will head to Tribal Council.

Kalo has Jonathan, so he is just whipping this snake through the course. Vatu is struggling again with a challenge, in dead last. Colby and Stephanie whip their snake through and make up major time for Vatu. Things are dead-even, as they are all working on the snake maze with the balls.

The tribes keep flip-flopping with the lead and dropping the ball. However, it’s Vatu that gets the win, and they have immunity tonight. Kalo pulls it out to take second place. It’s another loss for Cila, so they are headed back to Tribal Council tonight.

Who Do We Go For Now?

Emily mentions Ozzy being a threat to Cirie, which he is her #1. Now Cirie is on a mission to keep Ozzy safe. She tries to flip everything to Savannah, since she got something on that island, and they need to get rid of it.

Cirie tells Ozzy her plan. He knows how strong she is at this game and negotiating, so he wants her to know he is loyal. He gives her his extra vote, which she is ecstatic about.

Now we see Joe and Rick have words again. There is major tension there, so Joe may be gone tonight. Joe said he’s going to bite his tongue and vote with what they want, but no one seems to trust Joe with information. They are all over the place, so let’s just get to Tribal!

Tribal Council on ‘Survivor’ 50

We get to Tribal, and Jeff said it’s tense, which Joe said a fight between him and Rick that caused it. He owned his part in it. Rick jokes about them having the same physique and temperment. Lots of talk, but no clue where the votes are headed.

Results – Jeff tallies the votes. No idol is played, so here we go. The votes are: Savannah, Ozzy, Savannah, Savannah, and Savannah! Savannah has been voted off “Survivor” 50, making her the second winner gone this season!

Before they leave, Christian falls, and Rick plants a fake idol that the two of them made. He planted at Tribal, so someone finds it and thinks to play it. Will it work?
