In season 22 of “The Bachelorette,” Taylor Frankie Paul met and dated 22 men in her search for “The One.” But now that her season has been canceled by ABC, viewers won’t get to see their blossoming connections, or get to know the eligible bachelors she met along the way.
But as fans still mourn a season they won’t have a chance to watch, one of Paul’s contestants, Brandon Perce, is throwing his hat in the ring to date another “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star.
Brandon Perce Is Shooting His Shot With Jessi Draper
In an Instagram video, Perce, described by ABC as a loan officer, a single dad, and a mama’s boy, made a not-so-subtle request to meet Jessi Draper.
“Alright, so this message is for Jessi from ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ now that you are single,” Perce said. “I have a friend who is interested. He is a dad. He’s got tattoos, likes to workout.”
He then continued his list with some jabs to Draper’s ex, Jordan Ngatikaura.
“He has a job. Doesn’t like to golf,” he said. “He’s got a history with one of your friends.”
He continued, “So Instagram, if you could do what you do and tag her in the comments so she sees this. Let’s make it happen.”
In the comment section, Draper responded with a short and sweet “Hi.” Perce then responded, saying, “Oh hey there, I think my friend sent you a DM 👀.”
After that, he shared a screenshot on his Instagram Story of Draper following him on Instagram.
As a reminder, Ngatikaura filed for divorce after five years of marriage on March 19, 2026. The former couple, who share son Jagger, 5, and daughter, Jovi, 3, were briefly separated in 2024. They also shared Jordan’s daughter Peyton from a previous relationship.

While Perce’s move to get Draper’s attention was certainly bold, it might be perfect timing. After all, shortly after Ngatikaura filed for divorce, Draper went on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast to talk about the end of her relationship.
“I’m getting divorced,” Draper said in one of the teaser clips for the episode. “I told him I was going to file, but he ran to the courthouse and straight to TMZ to make it look like his decision.”
“If he’s going to play dirty,” the influencer says in the clip, “Do you want to talk about the escorts? Do you want to talk about the orgies?”
Now that her chapter with Ngatikaura is over, could a new one with Perce begin?
