Jessi Draper Provides Important Update On ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Filming Amid Taylor Frankie Paul Situation

While the world was curious to see how Taylor Frankie Paul would be as a “Bachelorette,” her season is longer being aired. And, as it turns out, Paul’s original show, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is also being affected.

On March 16, TMZ confirmed that season 5 of the reality show was being paused until further notice. Per the outlet, the decision was taken after a fight between Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. “It’s unclear exactly what sparked the fight, but our sources say the situation became intense enough that filming couldn’t continue as planned,” a source told the outlet.

It’s also unclear how long production will be paused as they are “taking the matter seriously and handling with caution.”

Jessi Draper Shared an Update Into the Production Pause

In a recent interview with the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, fellow “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Jessi Draper shined a light on what happened.

When asked if there would be a reunion for season 4, she responded candidly. “I don’t know because right now we’re on a film pause,” she said.

She then explained why the production team, and her fellow castmates, took the break.

“I feel like all of us right now are just trying to like be like, ‘Okay, we’re human beings first, and let’s figure that out and then we’ll get back to filming the show,'” she explained.

She then joked that while the series hasn’t been confirmed for a season 6, there’s still plenty of drama. “Clearly there’s no shortage of drama in our lives,” she said. “So, if we get another season, it’s going to be good.”

Jessi Draper Is Opening Up About Her Divorce

Also in the interview, Draper opened up about her recent split from her husband of five years, Jordan Ngatikaura. Per TMZ, Ngatikaura filed for divorce on Thursday, March 19.

“I’m getting divorced,” Draper said in one of the teaser clips for the episode. “I told him I was going to file, but he ran to the courthouse and straight to TMZ to make it look like his decision.”

“If he’s going to play dirty,” the influencer says in the clip, “Do you want to talk about the escorts? Do you want to talk about the orgies?”

Draper and Ngatikaura had been married since October 8, 2020. The pair, who share son Jagger, 5, and daughter, Jovi, 3, were briefly separated in 2024. They also shared Jordan’s daughter Peyton from a previous relationship.
