Gabby Windey Jokes About Taking Months Off Just to ‘Lay in Bed’

Gabby Windey is keeping things light when it comes to the idea of taking time off work.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the former “Bachelorette” and “The Traitors” winner shared a humorous take while discussing the realities of her schedule. “I want to take the next two to six months off,” she said, before clarifying exactly how she’d spend that time.

While speaking with the outlet ahead of the premiere of “Love Overboard,” a new Hulu dating show that she’s hosting, Windey described what she called the extra effort that goes into her routine, noting that it adds additional hours to her workday.

“This is what it’s like being a woman,” she said. “I have to sit for two hours in glam. I count my commute in my work hours. So already you’re tacking on two and a half, three hours of work. And I have to go and give. Wear these tight little dresses. It’s hard work.”

She then shared that she has been telling people she wants to take time off, specifically saying she’d like “two to six months off.”

When asked what she would do during that time, Windey responded simply: “Nothing. Absolutely nothing.”

She added that her ideal break would be to “lay in bed, watch some trash TV, read a book.”

“Surprisingly, I am literate,” the ICU nurse quipped.

Fans loved Windey’s relatable moment.

“She gets it ✨,” one user wrote in the comments section.

“God I love her, a comedic genius that gets it,” wrote another.
