Taylor Frankie Paul Ditches Glam in Unusual Outing Ahead of ‘The Bachelorette’

In almost a month’s time, Taylor Frankie Paul will begin her tenure as the lead for “The Bachelorette.” Giving out roses and going on romantic dates each week, the pressure will be on for the “The Secret Wives of Mormon Wives” star to win over audiences, and find someone special.

But before her season truly sets sail, the reality star shifted gears on Friday, February 13, and joined the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. In a team coached by actor Anthony Anderson, Paul was joined by actor Simu Liu, “Love Island” star Nicolas Vansteenberghe, award-winning music producer Mustard, and many more.

Taylor Frankie Paul Is So Grateful for the Invite

As a longtime fan of the sport, it seems Paul jumped at the opportunity to play basketball for the NBA. Even so, the task felt quite daunting.

“I’ve been in a lot of nerve racking situations and this definitely makes top five even though it was just for fun 🤪,” Paul wrote on Instagram alongside a compilation video.

“You’re mic’d and this is live so no redos, good luck,” she continued. “Truly grateful to be apart of this, so thank you to the NBA and ESPN for having me, was a night that will forever be remembered and my body is paying for it now.”

Sadly, Paul’s team did not leave the court victorious. The other team, led by NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, won with a score of 65 – 58. Some of the players included actor Keegan-Michael Key, rapper GloRilla, and Brazilian soccer legend Cafu.

In the comment section to her video, friends and fans of Paul are chiming in with support. “#3 on the court and #1 in our hearts😍,” wrote fellow “The Secret Wives of Mormon Wives” star Miranda Hope. Layla Taylor from the show also showed some love and wrote, “Killed it 🔥.”

As for her followers, they seem happy to see Paul feeling lighter and more authentically herself. After all, following her messy onscreen breakup with ex Dakota Mortensen, fans are rejoiced to see her in a better place.

“Tay look at this life you made for yourself for being so real and raw. I love you so much 🥹,” wrote one fans. “It seriously was so much fun this weekend watching you play!!!🔥👀🙌,” echoed another.

Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette,” Season 22, airs Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
