Amanda Halterman, best known from “1000-Lb. Sisters,” recently stunned fans by unveiling a noticeably slimmer frame in a sweet photo with her grandson.
She shared the image on social media on Monday, Oct. 6, with the simple caption, “Grandson.” She added a trio of red heart emojis.

Halterman’s Weight Loss Journey
Halterman has been on a weight loss journey for years.
The 44-year-old’s transformation comes after she underwent a second bariatric surgery in March 2023, following an earlier procedure years prior, according to In Touch.
She returned to the operating table in 2023, and the visual proof is finally catching up with her resolve. In the newly shared snapshot, she wears a soft smile, appearing thinner than ever, and many fans applauded her dedication and courage.
Halterman became a regular on TLC‘s “1000-Lb. Sisters” during the fourth season. She frequently appears with her famous sisters, Tammy and Amy Slaton.
Halterman is known for always speaking her mind and not having any problems with giving her sisters tough love.
Halterman Is Learning to Love Herself
In March of this year, Halterman bravely opened up regarding her struggle with self-confidence. She shared an image of herself with her boyfriend Leonard Moore and a touching message.
“I know what it’s like to struggle with self-confidence,” she began. “Mellow reminds me every day of how he sees me through his eyes, and it helps so much.”
She added, “I’m learning to love myself enough to accept both the compliments and the constructive criticism, and I can feel myself growing into the person I’m meant to be. I hope you’re finding that too!”
In another post from May, she thanked Moore for supporting her.
“Leonard Moore some of my favorites thank you for believing in me fighting for my health to get better showing me a different way to live lessen the stress slow down why we rushing,” she wrote.
She added, “Idk what the future holds but I am so thankful God saw fit to allow us to meet each other on the riverfront that day.”
