‘90 Day Fiancé’ Star Shares Heartbreaking Family News

“90 Day Fiancé” personality Veronica Rodriguez is mourning the devastating loss of her beloved dog, Artemis.

Rodriguez revealed the news in an emotional Instagram post shared Sunday, March 1, explaining that the 8-year-old pup’s passing came suddenly after doctors discovered an aggressive form of cancer on his spleen.

Rodriguez’s Heartbreaking Post

“It is with a very heavy heart that I have to share the heartbreaking news that our boy Artemis crossed the rainbow bridge on Friday,” she wrote. “He was only 8 but we discovered a very aggressive cancer on his spleen and he deteriorated overnight.”

The reality star described the loss as both shocking and deeply painful, noting how quickly everything unfolded.

“He was the goodest boy ever,” she continued, sharing her hope that he’s now “off in doggie heaven swimming and jumping and getting all the belly rubs and having the time of his life.”

Rodriguez added that the grief will linger for a long time.

“This all just happened so quickly and we’ll all carry a bubbi sized hole in our hearts forever,” she wrote, concluding her tribute with, “RIP Artemis, the goodest boy that ever lived.”

Friends and Fans React

Messages of support quickly poured in from fellow cast members and fans.

Armando Niedermeier-Rubio, who also stars within the franchise, commented, “Oh my, so sorry about this. Sending all the love your way.”

Chantel Everett shared crying emojis in response to the post, while one follower added, “So sorry for your loss. It’s never easy losing a fur baby.”

Jasmine Pineda added, “I’m so sorry 😢.”

Rodriguez has been a familiar face to TLC viewers for years.

She first appeared on “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” when her ex, Tim Malcolm, was dating Jeniffer Tarazona.

Their dynamic friendship later made them fan favorites on “90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk,” where they offered commentary on episodes from the comfort of their couch.

Rodriguez’s own romantic journey was also featured on “90 Day: The Single Life,” where viewers watched her navigate dating as a single mom to her daughter, Chloe, while maintaining a close bond with Malcolm.

While fans are used to seeing Rodriguez’s quick wit and candid personality on screen, her latest post offered a glimpse into a deeply personal loss.

For many pet owners, the sudden death of a beloved animal feels like losing a member of the family — a sentiment clearly reflected in the overwhelming support she received.

As Rodriguez processes the heartbreak, she made one thing clear: Artemis’ memory will live on in her heart forever.
