On Saturday, April 4, the TLC took to social media to announce the heartbreaking news, honoring his grandfather, lovingly known as Pop Pop Joe.

“RIP 🙏🏻 Pop pop Joe who I loved dearly and always kept me and the people around me laughing and full of love. This man will forever be one of the most influential people in my life,” he wrote.
Gibbs went on to remember who his grandfather was.
“One of the best humans on the earth. Full of kindness and an incredible zest for life. It hurts deeply t lose my grandfather but he will forever live in my memory,” he wrote.
Alongside the tribute, Gibbs shared a series of personal photos capturing cherished memories.
One image showed him alongside his grandfather, while another featured a larger family moment, including his wife, Julia Trubkina.

The umbilical cord had wrapped around the baby’s neck, placing dangerous strain on his heart.

“But you turned out to be so much stronger!” she wrote, reflecting on the moment their son was safely delivered.
The situation grew even more frightening during the procedure, as she revealed her body reacted poorly to the epidural, forcing doctors to act quickly.
“When I woke up after the operation, I saw Brandon holding my son in his arms; I was overjoyed that everything had turned out alright,” she shared.
