‘90 Day Fiancé’ Star Asked to Leave Nobu: Here’s What Happened

Reality TV personality “90 Day Fiancé” star Jovi Dufren reportedly had a dramatic night out in New Orleans, after a disagreement at Nobu New Orleans led to him and his group being escorted out of the upscale restaurant.

What We Know

According to TMZ, Dufren and four friends visited the celebrity-favorite dining spot for dinner.

Sources said most of the group appeared heavily intoxicated, which set the tone for an already tense evening.

The group reportedly ordered a spread of menu items, including sushi, tacos, beer and Wagyu dumplings.

The night took a turn after a restaurant employee allegedly informed Dufren that one of his friends had gotten sick in the restroom.

Around the same time, staff also told the table the Wagyu dumplings were no longer available.

That combination of events sparked a disagreement between Dufren and a manager about whether the dumplings were still being charged on the bill.

In video clips shared online by Dufren, he can be heard disputing the charge and insisting he was being treated unfairly.

The manager pushed back, telling him he was being disrespectful to staff — something Dufren denied.

The argument escalated enough that security eventually stepped in and escorted Dufren and his friends from the restaurant.

Despite the tension, the situation ended with a compromise.

One of Dufren’s friends reportedly paid the tab after the disputed dumpling charge was removed, bringing the total to around $180.

Dufren later shared another video to social media where he described what happened.

He added that after the incident, himself and his group went on the have a nice night at the casino.

In the comments, “90 Day Fiancé” star Jasmine Pineda asked about who threw up in the bathroom with a detective emoji. Dufren responded that it wasn’t him.

Fame From Reality TV

Dufren rose to fame alongside his wife, Yara Zaya, during Season 8 of “90 Day Fiancé.”

Their storyline followed their international romance and adjustment to married life in Louisiana, quickly making them fan favorites — and occasional lightning rods for controversy.

Since then, the couple has appeared in multiple franchise spin-offs, sharing updates about parenting, travel and marriage on social media.

Their candid personalities have helped them build a large fan base, though moments like the Nobu incident show how quickly reality stars can find themselves back in the spotlight for unexpected reasons.

For now, it appears the situation ended without further issues — just an uncomfortable exit and a memorable night that Dufren likely wishes had gone a little differently.
