The Putman family, known to viewers from TLC’s “Meet the Putmans,” has shared a hopeful update on loved ones recovering after a devastating car accident that claimed the lives of three relatives and left several others hospitalized.

Putman Family Shares Positive Update on Injured Relatives After Crash

On Sept. 28, the family posted a message on Instagram about the conditions of Noah and Gia, two family members who were critically injured in the crash.

“We wanted to share an update on Noah and Gia and ask that you continue to keep them in your prayers,” the post read. “Noah is still sedated, but we are so grateful to see that he is responding to us with movement. Gia underwent a craniotomy last night, and we are thankful to report that her care team shared some encouraging news, her brain pressure has gone down significantly.”

The family added, “Through it all, we continue to hold tightly to our faith, knowing that God has a plan and a purpose for everything. Even in the hardest moments, He is present, working in ways we may not yet understand. Thank you all for the continued prayers, love, and support. We feel your strength and faith surrounding us. Please keep lifting Noah and Gia up as they heal.”

One day earlier, family member Isabelle confirmed on Instagram that “Papa” Bill Putman, Neenee, and Aunt Megan had died in the crash. She also revealed that “Uncle Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah and Gia” were injured.

“We are asking for complete healing and strength for each of them,” Isabelle wrote in her Sept. 27 post.

Despite their heartbreak, the Putmans have continued to emphasize their faith. “Even in this time of heartbreak, we rest in knowing that God is in control,” the family wrote in a separate statement.

The Putmans first rose to fame in 2017 with the TLC reality series “Meet the Putmans,” which ran for six episodes. The show chronicled the lives of Bill and Barb Putman, their four children, and their extended relatives, all living together under one roof in Michigan. In 2021, the family revived their story through the YouTube series “Growing Up Putman.”
