Lifetime is giving fans more of the pops they love. The network renewed “Dr. Pimple Popper: Breaking Out” for a second season, ordering 20 new episodes of the medical reality series. Dermatologist Dr. Sandra Lee has now returned, continuing her successful partnership with Lifetime after the spinoff’s debut earlier this year.

What’s Ahead in Season 2
Season 2 promises even more unusual cases and emotional transformations. Among the standout conditions teased:
A bicep bump that “bends belief”
Mole-like lesions that have gone rogue
A protruding and veiny sac of uncertain mass on a shoulder
Other rare and unique skin conditions
“I’m absolutely thrilled to return for Season 2 of Breaking Out on Lifetime,” Lee said, as per Deadline. “This show is so much more than just skin; it’s about helping people reclaim their confidence and their lives. I feel incredibly honored to share these powerful transformations with viewers, and I can’t wait for everyone to meet the amazing patients and proteges we will follow this season.”
Elaine Frontain Bryant, EVP of A&E, Lifetime, and LMN, praised Lee’s reach and impact. “Not only is she at the top of her field, but she is also able to empower her mentees who will be the next generation of poppers and truly help her patients and our audience,” she said.
