Erin Krakow’s co-stars are the ultimate support system!
In an Instagram post from Sunday, March 22, the Hallmark star shared two photos with her “When Calls the Heart” co-star Ava Grace Cooper, who plays Opal Weise.
Both photos feature Krakow and Cooper on the set of “WCTH” and show Cooper hugging Krakow’s very pregnant belly. The first photo, however, shows the castmates during season 13 filming while Krakow was actually pregnant with her firstborn. The second image shows the two as Krakow’s character Elizabeth Thornton was pregnant during “When Calls the Heart: The Greatest Christmas Blessing” in 2018.

Cooper adorably knelt down in the first image to make herself appear to be the much smaller height she was when the “WCTH” Christmas movie was filmed, making her 8 years younger than now after having just turned 17 on March 2.
“#SPS – Same Pregnancy Shot 🥹,” Krakow captioned the post.
The newest photo mimicking their throwback one was so adorable that the Hallmark Channel couldn’t even resist commenting on it.
“This is SO CUTE 🥹,” the network wrote in the post’s comments.
Krakow and Cooper’s relationship is clearly one that each of them value — because just a couple of weeks earlier, Krakow penned a heartfelt message to Cooper on Instagram, wishing her a happy birthday and expressing how much she “adores” her.
“Happy happy birthday to this cherub of a human being! @avagcooper you’ve been like family from the moment we met. What an honor it is to watch you grow up. l’d say you’ve turned into the loveliest, kindest, most caring person – but you’ve always been that way (aside from that time you asked me not to sing because you liked the crickets better),” Krakow captioned a photo of Cooper. “I adore you and I hope you had the most wonderful day!”
3 ‘WCTH’ Stars Pregnant at the Same Time
The “WCTH” production crew did a wonderful job keeping Krakow’s pregnant belly hidden during season 13 filming. Although she’s shared several photos on Instagram of herself pregnant on set with her and Ben Rosenbaum’s baby, the Sunday night episodes have kept her baby bump out of the frame — and very well!
Krakow isn’t the only “WCTH” star expecting their first child, either. Kevin McGarry and his wife, Kayla Wallace, have a due date close to Krakow and Rosenbaum’s. Chris McNally and his partner, Julie Gonzalo, are also expecting as they wait to welcome their second child any day now.
