“Boy Meets World” cast members Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle and Rider Strong have announced their next podcasting venture. Episodes of “Pod Meets World” will stream on Disney+ starting on Monday, Aug. 24.
“Pod Meets World” Continues
Earlier this summer, Fishel, Friedle and Strong finished recapping all seven seasons of “Boy Meets World.” The trio recorded the final recap at the iHeartRadio Theater on July 23 in front of a sold-out crowd.
While the recap era may be over, “Pod Meets World” will continue, streaming new episodes on Disney+.
According to an official press release, “This newest chapter of the podcast will dig deeper into their undeniable chemistry through more shared ‘90s memories, random tangents, new side quests and exciting guests.”
The streaming editions are a part of a larger video podcasting deal Disney and Hulu inked with iHeartRadio.
Six other iHeartPodcasts titles will also make its way to the streaming platforms, starting with “Hey Jonas!” on Aug. 14.

Boy Meets Book Tour
The Disney+ episodes of “Pod Meets World” are the latest venture for the ’90s stars.
The trio will be touring across the U.S. this fall to promote “Book Meets World: The Definitive Inside Story of the Hit Sitcom ‘Boy Meets World’.”
The book serves as a companion to “Pod Meets World.” In the oral history book, readers will be taken behind the scenes of “Boy Meets World.” Fans can expect exclusive interviews and never-before-seen photos.
The oral history book hits shelves Tuesday, Nov. 10. The tour will kick off the day prior at Bookends in Ridgewood, NJ, wrapping up on Friday, Nov. 20 at Anderson’s Bookshop in Naperville, IL.
Each tour stop will feature a presentation and audience Q&A. Then, attendees can get their copy of “Book Meets World” signed and personalized by the trio. Tickets are on sale now for all the stops.
The book is also available for pre-order, with signed editions for sale from Book Soup, TalkShopLive and Premiere Collectibles.
