In the first photo, Uma Thurman wears an oversized cream trench-style coat. A black belt cinches the coat at her waist. She wears it over a black top and wide-leg trousers, finishing the look with black leather loafers. Her long blonde hair is worn straight.
Thurman then switches to a much sharper look. She wears a crisp white button-down shirt with dark navy flared trousers. Her hair is pulled back into a braided updo.
A Different Side of Her Character
The wardrobe changes offer a glimpse at Uma Thurman’s character, Charlotte “Charley” Brown. The character was introduced as a former Special Ops operator.
According to JoBlo, Charley previously worked as Head of Security for billionaire Leon Prater. Prater is described as a serial killer enthusiast. Charley left New York City with her mother at the end of the first season.
The new set photos confirm that Thurman is returning for the second season. They also show her filming alongside Hall, who is back as Dexter Morgan.
Her costumes suit the professional nature of Charley’s background. Both looks are polished without being overly elaborate.
