So, when does โ€œAGTโ€ Season 21 start? Find out the details on the season premiere below in our โ€œAGTโ€ spoilers.

When Is the โ€˜Americaโ€™s Got Talentโ€™ Season 21 Premiere?

Get ready, as the NBC variety show is headed back to our screens for another summer of entertainment. NBC announced its summer schedule, which โ€œAmericaโ€™s Got Talentโ€ is a part of.

For this new season, โ€œAmericaโ€™s Got Talentโ€ will premiere on Tuesday, June 2, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. New episodes will air every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and then will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.

Host & Judges for Season 21

While we will definitely see new acts take the stage this summer, it looks like we will see some familiar faces behind the judgesโ€™ table. All of the Season 20 judges โ€” Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Sofia Vergara โ€” will be back for another season. In addition, Terry Crews, who has been the host since Season 14, will also be back for another season.

Simon also serves as the showโ€™s executive producer. Season 21 will be his 11th season as a judge on this NBC summer reality TV show. Howie Mandel returns for his 17th season as judge. Sofia Vergara is back for her seventh season, and Mel B returns for her eighth season.

What Does the Winner Get?

All of the contestants will take the stage during the audition rounds, hoping to earn a pass to the live shows. Throughout the rounds and live shows, typically 10 acts make it to the AGT Finale.

Those acts all compete for the fansโ€™ votes in hopes of being named the winner of โ€œAGT Season 21. For winning, the lucky act will walk away with $1 million.

Who Won โ€˜Americaโ€™s Got Talentโ€™ Season 20?

As the auditions for Season 21 are about to air on NBC, we can take a look back at the big season last year. It was a celebration all season long, as โ€œAmericaโ€™s Got Talentโ€ was celebrating its 20th birthday. During that celebration, which act won it all during Season 20?

That would be 30-year-old Jessica Sanchez. She returned to the show for Season 20 after she competed on the show during the first season. Jessica was 10 at the time. She made it to the semifinals during Season 1, but was eliminated right before the finale.

Sanchez also competed on โ€œAmerican Idol,โ€ finishing as runner-up during Season 11 in 2012, which was won by Phillip Phillips, who recently competed on โ€œThe Masked Singerโ€ as Pugcasso.

โ€œAmericaโ€™s Got Talentโ€ Season 21 premieres on June 2, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with new episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.
