‘American Idol’ Alum & TLC Star Shares Adorable Baby Name in Sweet Gender Reveal

“American Idol” alum and former “90 Day Fiance” star Evelyn Cormier has revealed the gender and name of her first baby with husband Nick Vogt.

The soon-to-be-mom took to Instagram over the weekend to share the happy news in a sweet gender reveal video.

Cormier announced that she and her husband are having a baby girl in May 2026. The singer also revealed that they’re naming their little bundle of joy Ginger Ann Ruth.

In November, Cormier and Vogt announced that they’re expecting their first child together after one year of marriage.

Leading up to her heartwarming gender reveal, Cormier had been documenting her pregnancy journey. On Wednesday, the “American Idol” alum posted a fun compilation of videos capturing her friends and family guessing whether she’s having a boy or a girl. Majority voted for a baby girl.

In another post, Cormier shared some of their preparations for their baby, including the nursery.

“Of course, we can’t forget the nursery!!” Cormier wrote in part. “The room is a big project but we have such a cool vision for it, and it will come together in no time. It’s all hands on deck!”

Meanwhile, fans flooded the comment section with excitement and well-wishes for the growing family.

One follower commented, “I knew it! You had that girl glow. You will love having a girl. Congratulations!”

A fan wrote, “Love the name. Congratulations!!!! You will be great parents.”

Another chimed in, “Congratulations it’s been fun following you, supporting you in your adventures! You will be wonderful parents.”

Someone added, “I KNEW IT!!! Congratulations!! Baby Ginger is going to be a cutie patootie.”

Cormier first appeared on “90 Day Fiance” Season 5, with her then-fiancé, David Vázquez Zermeño. At the time, David was 27 years old when he contacted Evelyn online, who was 18. Despite their age difference, the couple quickly connected over their shared religious values.

The two got married in October 2017, but eventually called it quits in November 2021. Their divorce was finalized in 2022.

Cormier was also a contestant on “American Idol” Season 17. She auditioned in New York, where she performed “Wicked Game.”

Cormier advanced past the first round of Hollywood Week and reached the Top 20. She ultimately exited the competition during the Top 7 voting.
