Ben Affleck has made a very generous gesture for his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, TMZ says they learned. The outlet reports the “Gone Girl” actor has handed the former “American Idol” judge his entire interest in the $60 million mansion the former couple purchased roughly a year into their two year marriage.
The outlet says they got ahold of court documents that reveal the exes modified their property settlement agreement, which shows a “transfer of property among spouses.” The report goes on to say the papers don’t detail the exact nature of the transfer, but that TMZ was told by sources with “direct knowledge” that Affleck gave Lopez his entire stake in the property with no strings attached!
Back in May 2023, TMZ first reported the couple, who married in July 2022, had forked over $60,850,000 in cash for the house. The report points out they also invested millions into improving the property, before publicly listing it for sale a few weeks before Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024.

On October 6, 2025, Affleck appeared on the red carpet alongside Lopez at the New York premiere of her musical film “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” which was based on the 1992 stage musical and Manuel Puig’s novel of the same name.
Affleck was an executive producer of the project through his company, Artists Equity. People reported he said onstage during the event, “I’m humbled and honored to be standing up here. I won’t talk for very long, except to say that when we started Artists Equity, my principal goal was to empower great artists, tell moving stories, create opportunities for these kinds of great stories to be told, and work with the best directors in the world and the best actors and the best material.”
The report says the 53-year-old went on to say the film accomplished all of that, before calling the project “exquisite.” He also directly praised his ex-wife, telling her, “Jennifer, you’re incredible,” before shouting out the film’s writer and director, Bill Condon.
Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Went Christmas Shopping in December 2025: REPORT
On December 23, 2025, People reported Lopez and Affleck had been spotted shopping together at the Farmshop in California. The exclusive report stated the pair reunited for lunch before hitting up Brentwood Country Mart in Los Angeles with Affleck’s son, Samuel.
The outlet says a source described the outing by saying, “They met up and went shopping together. Jen and Ben seemed fine. The focus was mostly on Sam.” The report goes on to say the source added, “He was excited and chatty. They shopped for gifts in several high-end stores. Jen asked a lot of questions and picked up gifts for Ben’s kids. They arrived and left separately.”
Sam, born in 2012, is the youngest of the 3 kids Affleck shares with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
