Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher Enjoy Rare Date Night

Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, enjoyed a fun and rare night out together at the Nashville Predators’ home game against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, March 28.

Though the Canadiens won 4-1, the evening was a win for the couple, who treated the outing as a special date night.

The Predators gave the couple a warm welcome, sharing an Instagram post that read, “Smashville legends in the house tonight. Welcome back @mfisher1212 & @carrieunderwood!” referencing Fisher’s tenure with the team from 2011 to 2017.

The couple tied the knot in 2010.

While the couple maintains their privacy, Underwood has previously praised Fisher.

“I feel like he is the person I was meant to be with,” the singer told PEOPLE back in June 2019. “I had dated guys and kind of knew, like, ‘No.’ Nothing was ever really wrong, but nothing was really right either. With him, it was like a good partnership. It was an easy relationship to be in.”

All About the Fun Outing

For the occasion, Underwood sported Fisher’s No. 12 jersey paired with jeans, while Fisher wore an olive button-up, khaki trousers, and a camo baseball cap, keeping the night relaxed and fun.

Fisher also was holding a bobble head of the two during the sweet image.

The evening highlighted a balance the couple has cultivated in their life together: a mix of public appearances and private family time.

Underwood, 43, recently spoke about maintaining that balance while raising their sons, Isaiah, 11, and Jacob, 7, on their sprawling Tennessee farm.

During a March 26 appearance on SiriusXM’s “Front Row,” Underwood reflected on her career and family life.

“I learned very quickly that this is not real life,” she said, referencing the fast-paced entertainment world. “I love performing… but the world that that takes you to is just not real.”

That perspective has shaped the way she raises her children.

Underwood Values Raising Her Children Away From the Spotlight

On their farm near Nashville, daily routines are far removed from Hollywood’s glare.

“It’s important for me that home is just way different than this,” Underwood explained. “We get up, take them to school, make breakfast, pack lunches.”

For the couple, date nights like the Predators game provide a fun break from their busy schedules and a chance to reconnect.

Beyond the rink, Underwood has a judging role on “American Idol,” which often takes her to Los Angeles, making these family-centered moments even more meaningful.

And when she’s not working, she’s back on her farm where she cares for her animals and even grows her own produce.
