Keith Urban has commemorated his love for Nicole Kidman in a special way, before their marriage took a downturn.
The “American Idol” judge got multiple tattoos dedicated to the actress, with whom he was married for 19 years.
With Kidman filing for divorce, all eyes are on Urban’s tattoos. Let’s take a closer look at the love-inspired ink dedicated to his soon-to-be ex-wife.
Keith Urban Has a ‘Babygirl’ Neck Tattoo
Prior to Kidman’s role in “Babygirl,” Urban had the word “babygirl” tattooed on the back of his neck. In a November 2024 interview with W Magazine for the Art, Kidman shared that her husband was not allowed to use that nickname for anyone but her.
“Keith’s not allowed to call anyone else babygirl,” the actress said. “But now, because of the film, it’s taken on a different meaning. So he’s like, ‘No, I still have total rights over babygirl!’ “

He Also Has a ‘Nicole’ Ink on His Bicep

Kidman’s Middle Name on His Knuckles
Aside from Kidman’s first name, “Nicole”, Urban inked her middle name, “Mary,” on his knuckles. The four-letter name is written in bold, upper-case letters.
In a 2021 interview with QX104 Country, the singer talked about the tattoo.
“I realized that I suddenly can’t wear any rings on that hand because otherwise her name becomes…various [words],” he explained.
He Has Kidman’s Initials on His Body
GettyUrban’s tributes for Kidman don’t stop there. The Grammy-winning singer has her initials, “NMK,” tattooed on his wrist. According to Taste of Country, the three-letter design was actually a cover-up of a tattoo he once shared with his supermodel ex, Niki Taylor.
The former lovers got matching tats that read, “amor vincit omnia,” which translates to “love conquers all.”
So far, it remains unclear whether Urban will cover up his tattoos dedicated to Kidman. Considering he has done so in the past with his ex, it wouldn’t be surprising if he chose to do it again.
Kidman filed for divorce from Urban on Tuesday, September 30, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason, per TMZ.
