Nicole Kidman put on a brave face as she stepped out for the first time since filing for divorce from Keith Urban.
The Oscar-winning actress was photographed on a hike in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, October 1, just a day after initiating the legal process to end her marriage.
Kidman was joined by her sister, Antonia, as seen in photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
For the outing, the “Babygirl” actress sported a pair of black leggings and a form-fitting gray jacket. She also donned a baseball cap and oversized sunglasses.
Kidman looked relaxed as she smiled while walking next to her sister. In another shot, the actress appeared to be in a deep conversation with Antonia. At one point, Kidman was seen linking arms with her sister and placing her hands on her chest, the outlet noted.
Nicole Kidman Leans On Sister Amid Keith Urban Split
GettyOn September 29, TMZ reported that Kidman and Urban called it quits after 19 years of marriage. The outlet noted that the two have been living apart “since the beginning of summer.”
Kidman is said to be taking care of their two daughters and is “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.”
Meanwhile, PEOPLE reported that Kidman has been relying on her sister, Antonia, as she navigates this challenging period.
“Nicole’s sister [Antonia] has been a rock and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another,” the source told the outlet.
“She didn’t want this,” the insider added. “She has been fighting to save the marriage.”
Is Urban Moving On?
Shortly after news of their split broke, TMZ reported that Kidman had filed for divorce from Urban, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. The outlet noted that the actress wants to remain the “primary residential parent of the minor children.”
Meanwhile, insiders close to the former couple believe the “American Idol” judge has already moved on and is seeing another woman, TMZ reported.
Rumors of Urban moving on intensified after the singer changed the lyrics to his song “The Fighter” during a recent concert. Originally, the song was inspired by his romance with Kidman.
The original lyrics is, “When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter.”
However, during the performance, Urban changed it to, “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie I’ll be your guitar player,” referring to his guitar player, Maggie Baugh.
