Time for Disney Night on “American Idol” season 24 tonight on ABC. The Top 9 on “American Idol” 2026 were taking on some of your favorite Disney songs from some of your favorite Disney movies. Kyndal Inskeep has been one of the standouts this season, and I was excited to see if she could pull it back together for this Disney Night performance on “American Idol” 2026. Last Week on ‘American Idol’ Season 24
For this performance last week on “American Idol” season 24, she sang “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls. Kyndal wowed us all in Hawaii. That original song about her mom was outstanding and won everyone over. However, things have been lacking since then.
It seems to be affecting Kyndal, as she didn’t seem that confident during this performance. She needs to gather it back together. Fans were hoping she would do just that during her performance tonight.
Disney Night on Idol
She said she and her husband are both adrenaline junkies, so it was great to go to Disneyland and ride the rollercoasters. She married her husband six months ago. Kyndal talks with Jennifer about her journey on the show, and she is getting emotional. She said last week was a bummer, and it took a toll on her confidence, which is why this song hits home for her. Jennifer said it’s a lot of emotions, but she needs to be balanced.
For her performance, she sings “Butterfly Fly Away” from “Hannah Montana: The Movie.” You can definitely tell that she felt this song more, and she felt more confident. The emotions were there, but this was a great performance from Kyndal. She’s lost me the last few weeks, but she brought me back with this one. It was very good and very connected. The emotion was there and she ended the night strong.
For the judges, Lionel said that was the way to step into her light. That was fabulous. Carrie said feeling like you felt like last week was necessary. We can’t have moments of redemption like this. Jennifer said that it was absolutely beautiful as she threw a shoe. Luke said way to come back and get through a rough week. You did it, great job.
