“Big Brother” season 27 alum is getting fans talking about what could be coming next for BB28.
Morgan Pope, a fan-favorite who came in third place in the show’s most recent season, posted on X this week.
“Who’s excited for BB28?! I heard about a casino theme maybe? Any other theories y’all have?” she said.
The mention of a casino theme appears to stem from recent social media activity by host Julie Chen Moonves, including a post featuring a pool table and “7️⃣7️⃣7️⃣” caption that sparked speculation about the next season.
Fans filled Pope’s mentions with ideas about twists, formats, and casting, with some noting that while casino-style elements have appeared before (BB23), a full season built around that theme has not yet been done.

One fan suggested a gambling-style twist tied to the rumored casino theme; instead of saving yourself with the “BB Blockbuster”—a twist that was introduced in season 26 as the “AI Arena” and continued in season 27—a houseguest can “gamble” to either stay safe from the chopping block or the week. If the gamble doesn’t go well, they’d end up on the block or evicted.
“Oh interesting!!! I’m not sure how I’d feel about this tbh cause stress, panic etc LOL (great for viewers),” Pope replied.
Returnees also came up throughout the thread.
“Bb14/18 format with four returning players,” one fan wrote.
“Oh wait that would be fun!! BB14 was one of my fav seasons,” Pope responded.
“I hope it’s 6 returnees like bb18!” another fan theorized.
“That would be pretty nuts!! Love it,” the former houseguest replied.

A traditional-style building and cherry blossom trees also appear in the video, leading to additional guesses about a themed house or location.
Chen Moonves has not explained either post.
CBS has not announced any official details about “Big Brother” 28, including its theme, format, cast, or premiere date. All we know right now is that casting is still underway.
