‘Below Deck Down Under’ Teases a Romance Between Kelliher & João Franco
In a trailer for the new season, Captain Jason is seen meeting with his heads of department even before they set foot on the Katina. After a challenging season last year, which saw tensions flare among the crew leaders, Captain Jason is hoping that bringing along experienced veterans will help make this charter season a smoother ride.
The trailer then introduces “Below Deck” fan-favorites Chef Ben Robinson, Second Officer João Franco, and Chief Stew Kelliher, who will work together with their crew for an unforgettable charter season.
As the crew gets comfortable with one another, a romance blossoms between Kelliher and Franco, with the pair exchanging kisses in the hot tub and during nights out with the crew. But as their love story unfolds, Captain Jason’s plan to rely on seasoned veterans as his department heads appears to backfire, as egos, particularly Robinson’s, threaten to boil over.
“Below Deck Down Under” returns on Monday, Feb. 2, on Bravo.
