Bravo star Aesha Scott returns as chief stew on season 10 of “Below Deck Mediterranean.” While the charter season may be over, she’s still rocking her epaulettes in spirit as she readies for her upcoming wedding to fiancé Scott Dobson.
Scott made a guest appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on Sept. 29, after the premiere of “Below Deck Med.” There, she spilled on her wedding details, and the shocking reason why her old boss and beloved “Below Deck” star Captain Jason Chambers won’t be in attendance.
Aesha Scott Admits Captain Jason Is Not Invited to Her Wedding
Getty“Below Deck” star Aesha Scott recently appeared on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” and revealed that her former yacht boss and fan-favorite, Captain Jason Chambers, was not on her wedding guest list.
Scott, who is set to marry her fiancé, Scott Dobson, next year, told the Bravo host that while fans may be surprised by the news, she had no choice but to leave the yachting captain off her guest list due to a strict limit of 130 attendees.
“We can only bring 130 people,” she told Cohen, adding, “It’s been tough.” Scott shared that while Chambers will not be celebrating alongside her on the big day, Captain Sandy Yawn will be there. “Sandy’s been in my life for a lot longer. So Sandy trumped,” the chief stew shared.
As fans can recall, Scott worked alongside Captain Jason on both seasons 1 and 2 of “Below Deck Down Under.” However, she has worked longer with Captain Sandy, working as a second stew on seasons 4 and 5 of “Below Deck Med” before returning as a chief stew for seasons 9 and 10.
Scott Reveals Her Wedding Guest List
GettyAlthough Scott has a limited guest list for her upcoming wedding, she did tell Cohen that she had invited quite a few “Below Deck” cast members.
The chief stew shared that those invited include “Below Deck” alums like Hannah Ferrier and her husband, and Anastasia Surmava, who worked as third stew on season 4 of “Below Deck Med” alongside Scott. Also invited are season 10 “Below Deck Med” bosun Nathan Gallagher and his girlfriend, “Below Deck Med” deckhand Gael Cameron. Additionally, Scott invited production members from the series.
As previously mentioned, Captain Sandy and her wife, Leah Shafer, will also be in attendance. Scott was even on hand to help Captain Sandy set up her perfect beachside proposal, which aired on season 9 of “Below Deck Med,” which took place in Greece.
In an interview with People, Scott shared that she and her fiancé will have a wedding that is “not-so-traditional,” opting for Thai food and a “saxophone-playing DJ.” The couple’s wedding is set for March 2026 and will take place in Homunga Bay, New Zealand.
