New aerial photos of the country music star’s sprawling 400-acre Tennessee property offer a rare look at the private retreat she shares with her husband, former NHL player Mike Fisher, and their sons, Isaiah and Jacob.
The expansive property outside Nashville is far more than a family home. It includes everything from a greenhouse and orchard to stables, an equestrian arena and a large lake, reflecting Underwood’s well-documented love of animals, gardening and life away from Hollywood.

New aerial photos published by the Daily Mail on August 8 revealed the impressive scale of Underwood’s Tennessee property.
According to the outlet, Underwood and Fisher acquired the sprawling estate more than a decade ago for $3 million. The family’s main residence is surrounded by manicured lawns and dense woodland, offering considerable privacy.
Elsewhere on the property is a large orchard filled with fruit trees, a hay barn, multiple stables and an equestrian arena.
One of the more striking features is a sizable lake. The aerial images show a dock extending onto the water, along with kayaks, a small boat and a large inflatable slide that appears to turn the secluded spot into a private recreation area for the family.
The property also includes a greenhouse, which is particularly fitting given how much Underwood has shared about her passion for growing her own food.
Carrie Underwood Has Turned Farm Life Into a Family Lifestyle
Underwood’s enthusiasm for her property goes far beyond enjoying its scenery.
The “American Idol” judge regularly gives fans glimpses of her life there on social media, showing off fresh produce and introducing some of the animals her family raises.
Underwood told Fox News Digital in April that the farm is home to chickens, cows, sheep, donkeys and horses. She also explained that she grows food in her garden and believes she could become largely self-sufficient if she had enough time to devote to it.
“I love growing things,” Underwood told the outlet, describing gardening as “a great way to connect with the earth.”
Her greenhouse has become another important part of that lifestyle. Underwood has previously shown fans fruits and vegetables from her garden, while her homesteading interests also include canning food and caring for livestock.
Even Fisher has contributed to the growing collection of animals. In 2020, he gave his wife cows for Christmas after learning that she wanted them.

She offered an even more colorful description of the contrast in an interview with Us Weekly earlier this year, comparing her working life to being “Cinderella at the ball” before returning home to dirt, chores and farm life. She said she wouldn’t want it any other way.
