Kim Kardashian’s Los Angeles Home Burglarized: REPORT

Kim Kardashian’s Los Angeles mansion was burglarized over the weekend, TMZ reports.

According to the outlet, the suspect also took one of her staff members’ cars for a joyride. The 27-year-old man was ultimately arrested, having shown up at her home while it was under renovation. He “forced his way inside through a door on Sunday afternoon,” law enforcement sources told TMZ.

“Our sources say a security guard saw the man taking items from Kim’s house and loading them into a vehicle. We’re told the man also jumped behind the wheel of a car belonging to Kim’s staffer and took it for a spin around the neighborhood,” the outlet writes. “Our sources say the security guard saw the burglary in progress and called the sheriff’s office to report it. We’re told sheriff deputies surrounded Kim’s home and eventually took the man into custody without further incident.”

TMZ reports that nobody was injured and that there were no weapons found on the suspect when he was arrested.

Kim Kardashian And Her Children Are Not Living At The Home Right Now

Sources close to the mom of four told TMZ that she and her children were not home, as they aren’t living at the property right now since it’s under renovation. They have been living in a rental.

Those same sources disputed some of what was told to the outlet, saying that the suspect never entered Kardashian’s home.

Kim Kardashian Was Robbed At Gunpoint In 2016

During Paris Fashion Week in 2016, Kardashian was the victim of a terrifying burglary as she was robbed at gunpoint in an apartment. Five masked men dressed as police officers entered the apartment and tied Kardashian up with duct tape and plastic cable ties before locking her in the bathroom.

They stole an estimated 6 million in jewelry, including a ring that was given to her by her then-husband, Kanye West. Following the investigation, ten suspects were charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, and conspiracy. 8 of the men, who have been nicknamed the ‘grandpa robbers,’ were found guilty, while two were acquitted. The man who led the group was sentenced to 8 years in prison, as well as a 5-year suspended sentence.

The incident was documented during an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, with Kardashian sharing a message on her Instagram page at the time.

“Tonight’s episode is going to be very tough for me,” she wrote, “However, I thought it was important to share this story through my eyes & not in an interview where my own words could be twisted. I have always shared so much & I’m not going to hold back when this was probably one of the most life changing experiences for me. I would never wish this experience upon anyone, but have learned some valuable lessons & feel so blessed to be safe home with my babies & husband. To my friends, family, and loved ones I can’t thank you enough for being there when I needed you the most. To the French police, thank you for your incredible hard work.”
