Milo Ventimiglia Kicks off Netflix’s 2026 Christmas Movie Schedule Starting in November

Pumpkin spice is back, and that means we’re getting ready for the fall, spooky season, and end-of-year celebrations. Netflix is making it clear that there’s a lot to look forward to with the release of its 2026 Christmas movie schedule.

The good news is that fans don’t need to wait until December to check out all the holiday content, with the first movie arriving at the beginning of November. There are currently four movies confirmed throughout the season, although one of them is still to get a set release date.

‘A Dog’s Perfect Christmas’ Kicks Off the Season

Milo Ventimiglia kicks off the Christmas season on Netflix, along with Dennis Quaid, Brooke Lena Johnson, and Mary Steenburgen. They will all star in “A Dog’s Perfect Christmas,” which is slated for a Nov. 4, 2026 release date.

Cathryn Michon has directed this holiday release with a story based on the works of W. Bruce Cameron. Yes, you know that author. He’s the one who brought us “A Dog’s Purpose,” which has been adapted into a film and is a must-watch if you need something to tug at the heart strings.

In “A Dog’s Perfect Christmas,” a teenager and her grandfather live together with their trusted basset hound, Winstead. They all struggle to hold the household together in the middle of a crisis, and we get a tale of how everyone can come together to spread the good cheer. “A Dog’s Journey” and “A Dog’s Purpose” are available to stream on Netflix if you need something while you wait.

‘Guarding Stars’ Stars Leighton Meester and Jared Padalecki

If you need a holiday rom-com, then the next movie is for you. “Gossip Girl’s” Leighton Meester and “Supernatural’s” Jared Padalecki are starring opposite each other in a movie adapted from Katherine Center’s 2022 bestseller, “The Bodyguard.” Directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum, “Guarding Stars” will be released on Nov. 18, 2026.

It follows Meester’s Hannah, who is a no-nonsense executive protection agent, who takes everything she does seriously. When she’s given the assignment to protect Padalecki’s Jack, a charming blockbluster action star, she ends up struggling to keep her personal feelings separate from her professional ones.

She’s there to protect him from a dangerous stalker, but they need to head to a family retreat, where they have to fake date to protect Jack’s terminally ill mother. Well, with that trope, you know exactly what’s coming in the romance setting.

‘In a Holidaze’ Is Another Book Adaptation from Netflix

Netflix is loving its book adaptations right now, and “In a Holidaze” is another one. This one arrives on Netflix on Dec. 2, 2026, and will star Maddie Ziegler, Graham Phillips, Patton Oswalt, and Rob Lowe.

Tiffany Paulsen has directed this Christina Lauren adaptation, and it’s set to fill the void of needing a romance with a time loop. In this story, a directionless twentysomething ends up trapped in a magical time loop, where she needs to relive the same Christmas at her family’s cabin until she learns one lesson. That lesson? What makes her truly happy.

‘Tyler Perry’s The Gospel of Christmas’ Doesn’t Have a Set Date Yet

As for the last movie, this one is just set for a Fall or Winter 2026 release. Tyler Perry brings another Christmas movie, “The Gospel of Christmas” starring Fantasia Barrino Taylor, Durrell “Tank” Babbs, and Ricco Ross.

As the title would suggest, the story is set within a church setting. A struggling pastor inherits his family’s church, but the neighborhood is broken, and he’s not sure what to do to succeed. As he is faced with temptation and doubt, he has to rediscover his faith if he wants to save the community.

Now, you just need to decide which of the 2026 Netflix Christmas movies you’re watching!
