There is plenty of new country music to look forward to this June. The month is packed with highly anticipated releases from some of the genre’s biggest stars, including Keith Urban, Koe Wetzel, Cody Johnson, and Jo Dee Messina, along with new projects from fan-favorite groups like The War and Treaty, Midland, and The Red Clay Strays.

4 Country Albums Dropping on June 5, 2026

Country legend Jo Dee Messina is making her return to country music this June with the release of her 6th studio album, “Bridges.” Messina rose to fame in the ‘90s with hit singles like “Heads Carolina, Tails California,” “Bye Bye,” and “I’m Alright.”

The Red Clay Strays, best known for their 2022 single “Wondering Why” are dropping their third studio album, “Grateful,” on June 5th. The band consists of Brandon Coleman, Andrew Bishop, Drew Nix, John Hall, and Zach Rishel.

Sierra Ferrell is releasing her first live album, “Live at Third Man Records.” Ferrell featured on Zach Bryan’s “Holy Roller” in 2023 and Mumford & Sons’ track “Here” in 2026.

Old Crow Medicine Show is releasing their 9th studio album, “Union Made,” on June 5th. The Grammy-winning group is best known for songs like “Wagon Wheel” and remains led by founding member Ketch Secor.


Keith Urban Leads a Packed June 12, 2026, Release Day

Country music star Keith Urban is releasing his 13th studio album, “Flow State,” on June 12th. The new project sees Urban explore a different sound than fans may be used to, drawing inspiration from yacht rock music. The album also includes appearances from Michael McDonald, John Mayer, and Little Big Town.

Midland is also releasing new music on June 12th with its fifth studio album, “Stages.” The trio, made up of Mark Wystrach, Jess Carson, and Cameron Duddy, is known for hits including “Drinkin’ Problem” and “Burn Out.”

Koe Wetzel joins the June 12th lineup with “The Night Champion.” The Texas-born singer-songwriter has built a loyal fanbase by blending country, rock, and outlaw influences throughout his career.

Jon Pardi rounds out the release day with “California Sunrise (10th Anniversary Edition).” The expanded version celebrates a decade since the release of the album that featured fan favorites such as “Head Over Boots,” “Dirt on My Boots,” and “Heartache on the Dance Floor.”


The War and Treaty Release Their New Album on June 19, 2026

The War and Treaty are returning with new music this June. The husband-and-wife duo, Michael and Tanya Trotter, will release their fifth studio album, “The Story of Michael and Tanya,” on June 19th.

The upcoming album follows their 2025 release, “Plus One,” and includes collaborations with Whoopi Goldberg, Valerie June, and Wynonna. Ahead of the album’s release, The War and Treaty gave fans a preview of what’s to come with the lead single, “Don’t Say Goodbye.”


Cody Johnson Closes Out June With A Highly Anticipated New Album

Country music superstar Cody Johnson will release his ninth studio album, “Banks of the Trinity,” on June 26, 2026. The Texas native has become one of the genre’s biggest stars thanks to hits like “Til You Can’t,” “The Painter,” and “Dirt Cheap.” The 16-track project arrives just one year after Johnson released “Leather Deluxe Edition” and is expected to be one of the month’s biggest country music releases.
