Candace Cameron Bure is all set to get a joyful promotion in her life as she celebrates a brand-new chapter. The “Full House” actress revealed on Instagram that she is officially going to be a grandmother, sharing the emotional milestone with fans in a cheerful social media post.

“I’m gonna be a Candy Gram!!!!!! 🤗🥳❤️” Bure wrote alongside the announcement.

The heartfelt update quickly sparked excitement from longtime fans, many of whom have followed the actress since her days playing DJ Tanner on the beloved family sitcom.

For Bure, the growing family milestone feels like another joyful chapter in a life she has long centered around faith, marriage, and motherhood.

The moment appears especially meaningful after she has openly spoken in recent years about how much she had hoped to become a grandmother one day.

Back in September 2024, Bure warmly opened up about her hopes of one day becoming a grandmother during an interview with People magazine at 90s Con in Daytona Beach, Florida.

At the time, the actress shared that while she was excited about the possibility of grandchildren in the future, she wanted her children to embrace that chapter whenever the timing felt right for them.

“I can’t wait to be a grandma,” she told People. “I don’t know when that’s gonna happen — no pressure from me.”

Bure’s comments reflected the close-knit, family-centered life she has often spoken about over the years. The actress even sweetly imagined the simple joys she hoped would come with becoming a grandmother.

“Babies are the best, so I just want cuddles and kisses, and to munch on little chubby legs and hands and feet,” she shared.

That dream now appears to be coming true just over a year after her son, Lev Bure, married Elliott Dunham in a heartfelt outdoor ceremony surrounded by loved ones.

Following the wedding, Bure shared emotional photos from the celebration and reflected on how meaningful the moment had been for their entire family.

“I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Lev Bure 💍 ♥️,” she wrote at the time.

She later added, “Words cannot express the joy we have felt this weekend celebrating the marriage of our son and his bride Elliott. We gained a beautiful daughter and a wonderful family to do life with. My heart is so full ♥️♥️♥️.”

Bure Continues Balancing Family Life and Career

Even as her family grows, Bure continues to embrace a full and meaningful season of life, both personally and professionally.

In April, the actress revealed she will head back on tour this fall with a live event series centered around faith, wellness, and honest conversations about life’s challenges and joys.

“Secret’s out!” Cameron Bure, 50, declared in an Instagram video.

“I’m going back on tour this fall!!! 🙌🏼🎤 Last year, tickets sold out FAST, so don’t wait and use my presale code LIVETOUR to get your tickets today at Candace.com/tour 🎉.”

According to the tour website, the events will feature Dr. Tabatha, a “triple board-certified physician who helps women reconnect the body, mind, and soul for true healing.”

The tour will include personal stories, audience interaction, and conversations focused on healing, faith, and navigating life through every season.

“We’re going to go deep on women’s health, faith, and real, personal stories,” Bure explained in the accompanying video. “You know, the hard seasons, the joyful ones, and everything in between.”

For longtime fans, the announcement feels especially fitting during such a joyful chapter in the actress’s life.

As Bure prepares to become a grandmother for the first time, she continues to lean into the roles that seem to matter most to her: mother, wife, storyteller, and now, soon-to-be “Candy Gram.”
