Where to Watch ‘Dancing with the Stars – Dancing with the Holidays’ Special

One week after the “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 finale, a new, exciting show will air in its usual timeslot: “Dancing with the Holidays!” The holiday special is an hour-long broadcast, and if you don’t want to miss it, this is everything you need to know.

How To Watch ‘Dancing with the Holidays’

The festive-themed show will be hosted by beloved co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough. It will start at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, December 2, and be broadcast on ABC. It will also air on Disney+ and be available to stream on Hulu the next day, December 3.

Who Will Be Performing?

Why tune in to watch “Dancing with the Holiday?” Well, that answer is simple: the performances! There will be festive-themed dance routines and the return of many favorites, keeping audiences glued to their televisions throughout the show.

Fans guessed who would be included when they spotted fan-favorite competitors Andy Richter from Season 34 and Reginald VelJohnson from Season 33 (he also competed alongside pro Emma Slater) in pictures. They are believed to be performing to “All I Want For Christmas (Is My Two Front Teeth).

There was secrecy surrounding the official lineup until hours before the show was set to air, but the official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram page shared the announcement with a post.

Professionals include Witney Carson, Ezra Sosa, Val Chmerkovskiy, Alan Bersten, Britt Stewart, Jenna Johnson, Rylee Arnold, Brandon Armstrong, Emma Slater, Pasha Pashkov, Gleb Savchenko, Daniella Karagach, and Jan Ravnik. The pros will also be joined by troupe members Onye Stevenson, Carter Williams, Jaxon Willard, and Hailey Bills.

There will also be a sweet family moment when Johnson and her husband Chmerkovskiy are joined by their young son, Rome Chmerkovskiy.

In addition to the dances, there will be a performance from Pentatonix. They will perform “Holly Jolly Christmas.” Season 34 competitor Scott Hoying is a part of the group, so it will be exciting to see him in the ballroom again. Co-host Alfonso Ribeiro announced their inclusion in the holiday special during the DWTS finale. “Next Tuesday night, we are decking the halls and the ballroom for our first-ever holiday celebration,” he said. “We’ll have exciting dances from our pros, surprise guests, and a performance from Pentatonix.”

Who Is Not Returning?

We have to wait until tonight to find out the complete list of performers, and there may be a few surprises, but one beloved star who is not returning is Derek Hough, Parade reports. Derek had prior engagements and was hosting “The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular,” which was broadcast on Monday, December 1.
