The 10 Culinary Commandments will come to an end tonight on “America’s Culinary Cup” season 1. It’s the final challenges of the season, as Padma Lakshmi and the other judges will put these final three chefs to the test. It’s all about innovation for the “America’s Culinary Cup” finale, but who will win “America’s Culinary Cup” 2026 tonight? Check out our thoughts below in our “America’s Culinary Cup” spoilers and predictions.
Last Week on ‘America’s Culinary Cup’ 2026
Last week on “America’s Culinary Cup” season 1, it was time for the semifinals and the ninth Culinary Commandment. The final four chefs — Cara, Buddha, Chris, and Matt — would work on mastering the art of taste. They were tested on the five taste profiles (Sweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, and Umami) and had to create two dishes (one hot and one cold) for one of those taste profiles.
Chris had the advantage for winning the week before, so he got an extra 30 minutes of cooking time. However, he had to take those same 30 minutes away from his competitors. He took 15 minutes away from both Matt and Buddha.
That extra time didn’t seem to help Chris, as he ended up in the bottom two. The less time may have hurt Buddha, as he did end up at the bottom of the leaderboard. Those two chefs faced off in a head-to-head cookoff, where they had to use two taste profiles in one dish. One of those taste profiles was umami, and the chef got to choose the other one. The judges tasted the dishes and, in a unanimous vote, picked Chris’ dish as the best dish, and he advanced to the finale. That meant Buddha was eliminated from the competition.
Who Wins Tonight on ‘America’s Culinary Cup’?
This is a huge night, as the winner of “America’s Culinary Cup” season 1 will be crowned. They will also walk away with the biggest cash prize in culinary history of $1 million.
The pressure is going to be on for these three remaining chefs. The three chefs will be facing the final Culinary Commandment: Innovation. That means they will be tasked with reimagining signature dishes from legendary guest judges Eric Ripert, Suzanne Goin, and Daniela Soto-Innes.
The chef with the lowest score will be eliminated, leaving the final two chefs to serve their own three-course menu that puts their Past, Present, and Future on the plate. Who will walk away with the $1 million prize?
This is a tough one, as I almost feel like Chris is having his redemption tour. He was voted least likely to win, but then he came back and won it all. It sounds good, but I don’t think it’ll happen.
I think Chris will be eliminated first, leaving Cara and Matt to battle it out in the end. The focus has been on Matt and how he is a Bocuse D’Or gold medalist. I feel like everyone thought he would come in and easily win it. He’s done great, but I don’t think it’s enough to win this show.
The bigger story is Cara. She is pregnant and in the kitchen cooking. She has been consistently at the top of the leaderboard. I feel that will continue tonight for her, and she will walk away as the winner of “America’s Culinary Cup” and that $1 million prize.
Who do you think wins tonight on “America’s Culinary Cup” 2026?
