‘BBQ Brawl’ Season 7 Sets Premiere Date And Reveals New Cast Lineup

“BBQ Brawl” is back for a seventh season, featuring a twist on the show’s lineup.

Bobby Flay, Brooke Williamson and Maneet Chauhan will be returning to the show, though perhaps not in the roles you’d expect.

“BBQ Brawl” To Shake Up Roles This Season

Food Network has announced the new series of “BBQ Brawl” will begin airing on Monday, May 11, reports People.

Bobby Flay and Maneet Chauhan will be returning as team captains – this time joined by former judge Brooke Williamson.

Flay revealed the change-up at the South Beach Food & Wine Festival in February.

“Brooke has been a judge since almost the beginning, the second season, and she’s always wanted to be one of the mentors and cook on the show, and there was never sort of an opportunity for that,” he said.

However, once the couple made their relationship official, they had to switch up their roles.

“Our rule between us is that we can’t judge each other, because how can we judge each other?” Flay explained.

“We can compete against each other in kind of friendly ways. She’s becoming one of the captains on ‘BBQ Brawl,’ so I have to actually compete against her. And she, as you might imagine, is very competitive, so she’s tough to beat.”

Maneet Chauhan will be returning as team captain, no doubt hoping to guide another contestant to the “BBQ Brawl” crown. Her mentee Kyle Bryner earned the title “Master of ‘Cue” of season 6, per Food Network.

“When I came to America, I was so surprised to see how badly Indian food was represented, and that’s [why I] get along with you so well, because that’s what you are all about,” she told Bryner, who was dedicated to bringing more obscure flavors to the table.

Carson Kressley, Adrienne Cheatham and “BBQ Brawl” season 3 winner Rashad Jones will be judging the chefs this season.

Flay And Williamson’s Romance Heats Up

Williamson and Flay began dating in March 2025, after wrapping up filming for season 6 of “BBQ Brawl.”

“Well, first of all, I’ve been friends with Brooke forever,” he told People.

“I mean, she and I have been friends for a long time and so we shot this show before we started actually officially dating. So it has always kind of been the same for me.”

“One of the things I really like about being in a relationship with Brooke is that she’s great to bounce things off of,” he continued. “So it’s really nice to have kind of a best friend that you’re dating that can also be helpful answering the questions that you have.”
