There were no eliminations on “The Great Food Truck Race” 2025 last week on Food Network. Instead, the four remaining teams on “The Great Food Truck Race” season 18 had their sales rolled over to this week, as the teams make their way to Virginia Beach.
The tensions have been high for these four remaining teams, and it looks like host Tyler Florence isn’t backing down any tonight with the challenges in Virginia.
Moving Past the Drama
The teams competed in Darlington, South Carolina, last week on “The Great Food Truck Race” 2025. The four remaining teams got to cook on a NASCAR raceway, as they continued their fight for that $50,000 prize.
For tonight, the teams will be making their way to Virginia Beach, Virginia, for Episode 6, as their East Coast road trip continues. The episode is titled “Yes, Virginia, There Is a Beach.”
In the episode synopsis from Food Network, “Host Tyler Florence leads the trucks to Virginia Beach, Virginia, where one team’s past catches up to them despite their best showing in the race yet. The strongest competitors conspire against each other, one of them to great success. Another team struggles to prove they have what it takes to win.”
In the sneak peek shared by Food Network above, we see the ladies of Cooking With Que have talked out their issues and are moving past them. They had high tensions last week, and it looked like Ari was ready to call it quits. That is not the case, as they pulled it together and are with the other teams waiting to find out the first challenge in Virginia Beach.
Bottom Teams & Top Teams on ‘The Great Food Truck Race’
Since there was no elimination last week, the teams had all of their sales in Darlington carried over to Virginia Beach. That means Good Fortune Company and Nishaan have a pretty good lead over Cooking With Que and Stop Drop N Roll.
Tyler points out the fact that there seems to be a bigger gap between the two, so the bottom two teams will have to work extra hard in Virginia Beach to not get eliminated tonight on “The Great Food Truck Race” season 18.
The sneak peek cuts off before we get a look at the first challenge, but it looks like Florence has a bucket of crabs in front of him. They’re on the beach, so of course it would involve some kind of seafood, right?
