Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is launching an exciting new chapter in his Food Network career with a brand-new culinary competition series titled “Flavortown Food Fight,” slated to premiere March 4, 2026.
“The Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” star — often affectionately dubbed the “Mayor of Flavortown” — shared the news with enthusiasm, inviting fans to step into the long-teased world of Flavortown for the first time in a televised series format.
“Flavortown Food Fight” expands on the tasty universe Fieri has built over decades, transforming his signature phrase and colorful personality into an immersive culinary competition.
All About The Show
The show will feature three chefs per episode battling it out through multiple themed challenges, testing everything from creativity to technical skill in a variety of kitchens inspired by Fieri’s own life and experiences — from food trucks and fast-casual hot spots to upscale dining environments.
In announcing the show, Fieri said he’s thrilled to finally bring Flavortown “to life” in a new way.
“For the first time in television history, we’re opening the gates of Flavortown and inviting some of America’s most talented chefs to showcase their skills,” he said in a press release shared with PEOPLE. “We’ve been building out this universe for years and I’m stoked to finally invite everybody in!”
Each episode’s winning chef can earn up to $20,000 and the chance to return and compete in future episodes.
The competition will challenge chefs to adapt on the fly, reflecting Fieri’s own diverse culinary journey and his well-known approach to making bold, flavorful food accessible and exciting for home cooks and professionals alike.
Guest judges and Fieri’s son Hunter will also make appearances throughout the series, adding extra energy and expertise to the judging panel.
Fieri Returns After an On-Set Injury
The announcement follows Fieri’s return to full health after recovering from a significant on-set injury last year, when he tore his quad muscle during production.
Despite the setback, which required physical therapy and time off, Fieri has maintained his trademark positivity and enthusiasm for food and television.
Fans of Fieri and Food Network alike have long awaited a series that lets contestants cook their way through diverse culinary landscapes under the banner of Flavortown, a concept that has grown from a catchphrase into a cultural phenomenon — inspiring cookware, sauces, restaurants and an enduring personal brand.
With “Flavortown Food Fight,” Fieri continues to expand his influence on the culinary landscape, blending competition, entertainment, and community in a way that celebrates both flavor and creativity.
The series promises not only lively food battles but also an immersive experience that captures what has made Fieri a beloved figure in food television for more than two decades.
Whether longtime fans or food competition newcomers, viewers can look forward to spirited culinary showdowns, inventive dishes and the larger-than-life personality Fieri is known for — all set in the world of Flavortown.
