Food Network’s spookiest showdown is back just in time for the Halloween season. “Halloween Wars” season 15 premieres this Sunday, September 21, at 9/8c, with host Jonathan Bennett guiding seven teams of pumpkin carvers, cake sculptors, and sugar artists through terrifyingly tasty challenges.
With $25,000 on the line and judges Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira ready to critique every creepy creation, this season promises some of the most chilling and mouthwatering displays yet.
‘Halloween Wars’ 2025 Judges
For season 15 of “Halloween Wars,” Bennett returns as host, along with judges Li and Sequeira. They will be judging everything from scenes depicting childhood monsters to an inspired take on the boogeyman’s evil lair.
All seven of this year’s teams will be fighting it out each week in hopes of impressing the judge. They want to be named the winner of “Halloween Wars” season 15. The winning team takes home the grand prize of $25,000.
‘Halloween Wars’ Season 15 Teams
The trio above will be testing the season 15 teams, challenging them to bring out their best baking skills in the “Halloween Wars” competition. For this new season, Food Network has shared there will be seven teams competing for the $25,000 prize. The teams are:
- Team Graveyard Shift – Made up of cake artist Cat Campbell, sugar artist Kimberly Rivers, and pumpkin carver Willy Tuz. The trio are all parents, and Kimberly is used to the Food Network competition shows, as she won “Holiday Wars” in 2022.
- Team Undercakers – Made up of pumpkin carver Margi Laurin, cake sculptor Tenisha Billington, and chef Nils Rowland. Nils has competed several times on the show, including being the runner-up during season 13.
- Team Wicked Sculptors – Made up of cake artist Sarina Harnett, sugar artist Emerlie Miller, and pumpkin carver Rebecca DeGroot. While Rebecca is bringing wood-working and pumpkin-carving skills to the show, Emerlie is bringing her sugar skills back to the show for the third time.
- Team Oven Coven – Made up of custom cake artists Natalie Collins-Fish and Kim Simons, along with pumpkin artist David “Pablo” Smith. Another previous competitor, as Kim was runner-up during season 11 of “Halloween Wars.”
- Team Crumb Creepers – Made up of cake artists Vanessa “Vanna” Sampson and Jennifer Moshier, and pumpkin carver Anthony Pater. Anthony, 22, is the youngest competitor on “Halloween Wars” season 15, but he also previously competed on season 12.
- Team Terrifying Trio – Made up of custom cake artists Kelly Shivery and Kylie Holt, along with pumpkin artist Michael Valeroso. Kelly and Kylie are proven sugar wizards, and Michael is “The Pumpkin Master,” as he dreams up something in pumpkin form, and then he can make it.
- Team Poisonous Perfection – Made up of cake artist Karine Turgeon, sugar artist Jamie Louks, and pumpkin carver Paulina (Goff) Stovall. Does Jamie look familiar? She has competed on the show before and made it to the finale twice.
“Halloween Wars” season 15 premieres this Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 9/8c on Food Network. Episodes will stream the next day on HBO Max.
