Who Went Home on ‘Top Chef’?
Things kicked off tonight with the 15 chefs bringing their unique skills and signature dishes to the competitive arena. Kristen Kish wasted no time putting these chefs to the test and sending home the ones that didn’t pass that test.

Season 23 Begins
We see Kristen Kish, Tom Colicchio, and Gail Simmons at the racetrack in Charlotte, North Carolina. The season 23 chefs meet them on the track, so time to get this started. We will provide updates throughout the episode, so refresh the page for the latest news.
9:12 p.m. – The first Quickfire Challenge of the season has started, as the chefs split into teams of three. They had to create any dish they wanted using the ingredients in the pantry. However, they had the time it took a professional NASCAR driver to go 23 full laps around the course to complete their dish.
9:23 p.m. – Blue Team won the Wuickfire Challenge, which included Jonathan, Jennifer, and Laurence. They each won $5,000 and a victory lap around the course. Now the Elimination Challenge has started, as they will have one hour to cook a dish showcasing sweet potatoes, the state vegetable for North Carolina.
9:41 p.m. – The chefs are cooking and getting ready for the tasting.
9:45 p.m. – First group went, as Jonathan won the Carolina Ruby Sweet Potato Group, and Day is up for elimination.
9:52 p.m. – Two more groups have gone. Anthony won the Murasaki Sweet Potato Group, and Nana is up for elimination. Brandon won the Purple Majesty Sweet Potato Group, and Justin is up for elimination.
10:07 p.m. – The final two groups have gone. Rhoda won the Covington Sweet Potato Group, and Brittany is up for elimination. Duyen won the Norton Sweet Potato Group, and Jennifer is up for elimination. The judges discussed all the dishes and came up with final decisions.
Results on ‘Top Chef: Carolinas’
We are at the Judges’ Table, as the judges have come up with a decision for tonight’s dishes. Here are the results for tonight on “Top Chef” 2026:
- Winning Dish: The winner of this challenge is Rhoda. For winning, she gets immunity heading into the next Elimination Challenge.
- Losing Dish: This one came down between Day and Nana, but it was Day eliminated tonight on “Top Chef.” There is no “Last Chance Kitchen” for the first two weeks, so she is headed home!
