Hallmark Star Gets Emotional After Wrapping Latest Christmas Movie

Barbara Niven has been a Hallmark staple for decades. The beloved actress just finished filming her latest Christmas film, and it left her filled with a range of emotions.

That’s A Wrap for Barbara Niven’s Hallmark Movie

Niven jumped on social media to let fans know she was done with her latest Christmas movie, which also stars her Hannah Swensen pal Victor Webster. The actress posted a video to confirm she’s finished work and is heading home for some much-needed family time.

“I finished my last scene on this new Hallmark Christmas movie last night here in Winnipeg,” she expressed, before adding that it literally snowed the night before and panned the camera to show the winter wonderland outside her hotel window.

The “Chesapeake Shores” star explained that fans will see the real snow in her film. Niven then got real about how she felt now that filming was over.

“I am exhausted, but I can’t wait to get home and see my fur babies and my real babies. And I hope that you love this movie when you see it. I’m so honored. I think this is going to be one of the good ones. It’s got heart. It’s got comedy, and I’m just so proud of this one. So, see you soon,” Niven dished.

The video ended with Niven asking fans to wish her luck as she began her packing journey and made her way home to Los Angeles. Niven was off to make coffee, then hit the ground running, packing her four suitcases with items, including a special blanket, her own coffee maker, and a pillow, to name a few.

Barbra Niven Gives Update on Travel Journey

Not long after she let fans know she was done filming her latest Hallmark Christmas movie, Niven shared an update on her travels to get home. Niven used social media to show off her many bags of luggage packed into her rental car.

She even posed with a huge smile on her face in one of the pictures. In a selfie later in the Instagram post, Niven was all settled in on her flight back to Los Angeles. Niven flashed the peace sign as she sat in her seat, ready for takeoff.

“Traveling light. Ha. Made it on the plane. Whew! 😅 @hallmarkchannel,” she wrote as her caption.

Hallmark fans were happy to see Niven smiling and learn she was done with yet another Hallmark Christmas movie.

“You’re the best!! ❤️,” wrote a fan, while a different fan added, “Can’t wait to see another movie of yours!!! ❤️.”

Niven’s Christmas movie isn’t the only film she has coming up on the network. The next installment in the Hannah Swensen series, “Best Served Cold: A Hannah Swensen Mystery“, will premiere on Hallmark in May.
